I absolutely love this product. The colors are beautiful and there are so many to choose from. The bottles don’t spill easily, and I’ve knocked them over several times without the lid on by accident. The black doesn’t dry very well, but other than that I have no complaints.

♡ The pink strawberry set was my 1st set ever on my own, and the lavender gold moon set is the 2nd set (the improvement amiright??). • If you're someone that has been looking back and forth and back and foRth on reviews between Beetles gel polish sets and Modelones, I would opt for the Modelones! • I bought a Beetles gel polish set called 'Retro Love' and the colors were beautiful, but it took me several goopy coats to get there. • Modelones gel polishes (in the kit I got at least) act pretty smooth and not goopy, almost as if they are regular polishes. Easy to work with and super opaque!!! And like normal with a lot of gel polishes, yes, you wipe down with alcohol to remove sticky residue after full cure with these as well. • Returned the Beetles gel kit and kept this one. I spent a little more money and it's very much worth it I promise! • I also purchased the Modelones 'dehydrator & primer set', and the 'base coat shiny top coat & matte top coat' set and they seem to work pretty great! Had all the sets pictured on for at least 2 weeks, and one of the sets 3.5 weeks. 《Updated; ♡ 5/6/2022》 • I use the Beetles Apres dupe of full cover tip extensions btw! I bought it because of LongHairPrettyNails on YouTube (love her). If you have this or want to try it too, I 100% reccomend sealing top coat over the tips and underneath your nails, they strengthened them substantially for me personally! And if you want your nails to last a bit longer or just was that extra security that they will last, after about a week when there is a bit of growth, go over your whole set with gel top coat again after thoroughly washing and drying your hands and a quick wipe of alcohol :D ... show more

This is a great set with a good base set of colors. Pigment wise it's really nice and doesn't require a bunch of coats. I honestly debated between stopping after just one coat but went with two since it was my first time using the polish. After 2 weeks, I still haven't seen any chipping and that's even with me doing some chores around the house that included me using a steel wool scrub directly. The box it came in is sturdy and can be used for the storage along with the tray it comes with. If i really had to complain I would say they could improve the color sticker on the top of the brush to be more accurate. There's a window where you can see which color from the front but the sticker on the top is inaccurate and I end up pulling each one out to look at the front to figure out what color i want. ... show more

I had been eyeing this product for a while. I decided to stop going to the nail salon because it was getting too expensive. I started out with the Apres gel x kit and utilized this brand for polish and it definitely went beyond my expectations! I used a light pink color which usually takes 3 or 4 coats with the brands I bought from Ulta at a higher price. This polish is fairly opaque and only required 2 coats. The variety in the colors is a bargain! It looks like I have all the colors included as well the only downside is the bottles are in the smaller side but because it’s so many I’m ok with that. ... show more

I did not receive 6 of the colors that were listed as included in this set and 2 colors were added that were not listed. There are only 32 bottles of color included in the set I received and the listing is for 36. So instead of the 40 pc set, I got 36 with the top/baser coats & primer. The colors missing from my set were the ones I most wanted, of course. Missing color numbers: 1895, 0119, 0824, 0745, 2178 and 1975. The 2 colors that were included in my set but not in the listing are 0003 and 0594 - they're both nude/neutral colors and fit in with the rest, but hardly replacements for the blue-green duochrome 2178 or lovely green 1975. I don't know if I should reorder the set and hope for the set to match the listing or if the set has been condensed and listing not updated to reflect this. Either way, it's a bummer that some of the main colors I purchased this kit for were excluded and even more so that I can't reach anyone for help to see if it was warehouse packing error or product listing was wrong. Quality wise, most of these colors were very easy to work with and cured smoothly. I was impressed with the quality and workability of the polish, especially at the price.
