I am brand new to builder gel (well not anymore because I’ve been using this for a few months now but started as beginner) and I LOVE THIS STUFF. It’s incredibly easy to work with and is self leveling so it’s very forgiving with newbies. I’m a cosmetologist so I had minimal nail care training and I was able to get through it with a little patience and practice. You can use just one layer or you could do 3-4 thin layers if you prefer thicker nails. I prefer the natural polished look and this works great. It stays clear and doesn’t yellow under the curing lamp. I have yet to break a nail or have any lifting (just make sure you don’t get it on the cuticle). The consistency is much thicker than typical polish but goes on nice and smooth and it holds up so well. I haven’t had any chipping or anything like that either. It has almost no smell and overall easy to get the hang of it!

I do my own nails and started using this to make them stronger, so I didn't have had use as many dip coats. Makes a thick layer and easy to apply. Works great, makes nails more durable, no more chiped or broken tips. My favorite nail product brand by far!!!

This builder gel is incredible! Very beginner friendly and great for professionals too. I use this for bonding my full cover gel nails and building them. Never have I experienced any lifting or unpleasant odors, no burning either. My gel nails last me 3-4 weeks and this product is a staple in my collection. There is a bit of a sticky residue after curing for 60 seconds but that is easily remedied by wiping with alcohol. This gel is self leveling and all I have to do is buff after application. This builder gel glides like silk onto your nails and looks so amazing that you hate to cover with polish. If you are looking for a quality product that is affordable and lasts nearly a month before needing to be filled, then you can’t go wrong in choosing this product.

It works as described. My only complaint is that in order to maintain a peak at the nail apex, you have to dry upside down and shape with a nail file. It strengthens weak, thin nails. It is clear. Overall great product.

I love love love this builder gel! It is my first foray into a builder gel and now I am addicted. It can be used as a base coat. It can be used with nail forms to build a nail extension. It is not too thick nor too thin and is very easy to create an apex, even for a beginner such as myself. Removal is a snap with a light filing followed by a pure acetone soak off per cured layer. Soak offs, at least for me, only need five (5) minutes per cured layer. I use a quality stainless steel cuticle pusher to gently remove the soaked off product and have had no issues. Press on nails simply do not work for me. I have wide nail beds and full or half covers do not stay on for more than two (2) days, if I am lucky. Another factor is that I have flat natural nails in general with a few that have higher than normal c-curves. So press on nails are a challenge and I have tried many products and glues all with the same result unfortunately. This product was my last ditch hope in getting beautiful long nails at the length and shape that I desire and will last. It has not disappointed. Now, I will say that if you are just going to apply this builder gel without any other product applied then at the very least apply a top coat and cap the free edges. When I have failed to cap the edge with a top coat within 48 hours I wind up with chipped builder gel, but my natural nails are perfectly fine. I think that is expected however in both cases. So just be sure to top off with a top coat and cap the free edge and you should be good to go. Now I wish that I bought the rose pink... my next purchase when I need more (which will be soon)!

So happy with this product. (BUT YOU DO NEED A LAMP--I bought a cheap one for $8 on sale at Amazon). I have just started growing fingernails (after 70 years). I first had artificial nails put on 3-4 times (expensive), but they did started growing. I thought I could keep them long with just using a "Hard as Nails" type clear polish. But it didn't work. They were breaking and looking pretty bad. I asked my teenager what she did to keep them from breaking and I found out she went to the nail salon again for a hardening on top. Pricing that option didn't fit in with my budget!! I found this gel online and it was pretty inexpensive. I put it on and put it under the light. But it stayed sticky. I read the instructions and comments a bit better and then applied a brand called "Nail-aid 1 minute Artificials" over the sticky top and then put it under the lamp again, and wha-la it hardened so nicely!!! I just love it: several days have passed and it still looks great: still hardened and I have not broken any nails. So, the salons in my town wanted $35-50 for each time they applied the hardener: so I got a great deal for much less. Very happy. No skin irritation, drying time was quick, CLEAR COLOR.

Consistency is stringy so product can end up where you don't want it. Have a HEMA-caused allergy so I need to use gloves with anything that cures via UV/LED. Gooey stringiness meant some product touched exposed skin & flared my allergy even though I was quick to get it off with rubbing alcohol. Easy to move gel on the prepped surface of press-ons to thicken them. Leveling was fine & tipping the nail upside down momentarily helps the shaping right before curing. Product durability is lacking if used on an unprepped press-on nail because movement makes it crack. Set I worked on I have to wait to wear because they're French & a few of my natural nails have bruises from an injury which would show through. Will update my review after I've had a chance to wear the set. Cures clear & looks as expected. Don't intend to buy again solely due to stringiness.
