Pretty color. I like the shimmer. Application is quick. Texture is thick (which, is as expected). I would definitely buy again. Cat Eye does work but it’s a little different of an effect than in a salon. If you do want the cat eye effect you must put on more than one coat. To achieve the color on the nails shown, I would suggest no use of the magnet on the first coat. Otherwise, all of the shimmer color will push over to one area. After following the curing steps. Apply the second coat of the gel polish. Then, use the magnet to create a cat eye effect. Seems to be durable.

This is great gel polish!! I have the curing lamp, which is required for gel polish. These went on smoothly and turned out very pretty and shiny. The pink is a natural color. In 90 seconds, they dried hard and very durable. No chipping or sliding off. I liked that the polish was smooth and the right consistency. Not too thick or thin. Will last a long time!

I’m pretty new to builder gel and decided to try the Modelones Builder Nail Gel Polish Set — and overall, I’m really happy with it. As a beginner, I was a bit nervous about working with builder gel, but this set made it feel way more manageable. The consistency of the gels is nice — not too thick, not too runny — so I could shape and build without things getting messy or out of control. It cured well under my LED lamp and didn’t shrink or wrinkle, which was honestly a relief for my first few tries. The set gives you a good range of colors and base/clear gels to get started, so you don’t feel like you need to buy a bunch of extras right away. I did have to practice a couple of times to get the thickness and shaping the way I wanted, but that’s probably just normal builder gel learning — I didn’t feel like the product was the problem. One thing to note is that technique still matters — especially how much product you use and how you place it before curing — so if you’re new like me, expect a little bit of trial and error. But with a bit of patience, the results looked really good and lasted without lifting. Overall, I love this set for beginner builder gel work. It’s easy enough to work with and gives solid results once you get the hang of it. Definitely worth it if you’re starting to build your nail kit.

Okay. It’s my very first time applying builder gel (I have used the semi cured strips before and tons of nail polish, but never applied gel by myself, though the concept is pretty familiar). It’s a thick product and takes a minute to understand how to apply. Same old story: prepped the nails(the length is my own, so I didn’t extend it or anything, but it feels like this gel would perfectly do the job for it). I have managed to strengthen my free edge with what appears to be this milky off white colour,cured it and filled in the rest of my nail with 017 colour and let them gradually meet. This builder gel has a tacky layer an no amount of alcohol would help to remove it(I had to remove tacky layer to place the stickers properly)…and I’ll say don’t get too excited with rubbing off the tacky layer, because all the rubbing will fade the build let gel. I’ve applied glossy top coat from Beatles brand, filed them into shape. I applied stickers on and then put another coat of top, because all the shaping took a toll on the glossiness. And tah-dah, that’s what I have in the end. I feel like for a first attempt I have a good result,took me 5 hours to play with it and I was taking my time for sure, but seems like it’s worth it 🤷♀️ This product was relatively easy to work with and I will definitely purchase it again and try different shades. Update: no pics on my update unfortunately. I wore this builder gel for about a week and I ripped out my pinky nail (it just got caught in a grocery cart🙄🤦♀️ and I will say if it wasn’t for this gel- I’d peel my f..ing nail completely, so the gel literally saved my my pinky nail). I was devastated. Though, I remembered that I could use these builder gels for extending my nails… so I cleaned the leftover gel of off my wounded soldier, buffed it, got lower from and put it under what left of my free edge and started to do the same steps as I did on my natural edge, but this time extending the product onto a lower form. Build a free edge with milky white ( cured it), covered the rest with 017 colour (cured it), buffed and sanded and made it look like every other nail! My entire manicure only started peeling after 2 weeks (and I didn’t really spare my nails-a lot of washing, cleaning etc.) and the extended nail made it all the way through a week and is solid and not going anywhere ( again, I wasn’t really gentle on my manicure) ! I have a very pleasant experience with this product! From what I’ve seen and dealt with with this product-I’d not only recommend it to beginners as myself, I will definitely come back and and keep buying it! Update UPDATE: glitter nails is the second manicure I did with modelones as a base. I didn’t soak off the previous one, I just buffed all glossy top and anything that pilled a bit and applied new coat right on top. It is very satisfying to work with this product!

Not super strong. They don't harden very well. I'm not sure if my light is the problem since I don't have this issue with anything else. It's great for base colors for designs but I still had to use a hardening top coat.

I've been using modelones products for a while. Firs I have to say that they are very good and very safe. I used other nail gels and they gave me an allergic reaction so I will only buy modelones from now on. Now about the builder set, I am still learning how to use them but so far so good. It took me two passes on my UV light machine for it to cure completely on low heat and after it was cured and dry it lasted a long time. I will keep buying modelones because they are reliable and the colors are beautiful.
