Bought this baker's rack to finish our kitchen remodel. Box arrived 4 days earlier (got it in 2 days, instead of 6). It's a beautiful piece of functional furniture and quite sturdy for being non-solid wood (MDF or particleboard). Item was packed very well with lots of styrofoam to protect everything from the bumps and bruises of shipping. Everything is labeled clearly and the diagrams are very clear and easy to follow, with the boards labeled with letters, and the hardware labeled with numbers. As noted in other feedback, I had a missing piece, but had a duplicate of a similar piece. I reached out to the seller via Amazon and I got the missing piece within 2 days and the customer service responded within 3-hours, on a Sunday. The replacement piece was delivered in 3 days, across the country. Seller provided tracking info shortly after their first response--all aspects of customer service were excellent. RECOMMENDATIONS: (1) Do a thorough inventory of all the parts upon arrival to ensure all the parts listed, match the parts list in the assembly manual. Contact their customer support through Amazon if anything is broken or missing. (2) When screwing in the came screws, gently snug them, so they don't sink too far below the material surface. If you countersink the cam screws, the cam nuts won't properly lock and hold the joined pieces. The pieces are all machine well and have a tight tolerance. If you notice the cam nuts not fully locking or the pieces coming apart, loosen the cam screws a full turn. ... show more

It took about 4h to put together as there are lots of parts but it came together easily and is very sturdy for the price. I have been using it for months now and it is very roomy and beautiful. I would buy it again and would recommend it to anyone. The color is perfect and the wooden top is beautiful as is the hardware. The locking mechanism on the wheels does not make it completely stationary however… perhaps if all 4 wheels had it but this doesn’t prove to be a problem to me. ... show more

It was very easy to assemble. A little bit confusing on the directions, but if you lay all the pieces out, you can move through the assembly, fairly easy. I highly suggest laying the pieces on carpet because they are possibly stretchable. It was suggested in the instructions and that’s very true. It is a good looking piece of furniture. Not pleased with the hardware, but you can change the hardware out yourself and spruce it up just a little bit. I went from the black to brushed nickel. ... show more

I really wanted a LONG kitchen island, but it’s so hard to find one! I was eyeballing this one for weeks but was apprehensive since the product as well as the seller had no reviews. I didn’t want to be scammed, but I really wanted to see. So we took a risk! The bad: - I ordered grey and white came. Not actually a big deal since I was debating the colors myself, but kinda annoying. - The spice rack is unable to be installed because instead of a pair of sides, there are two copies of the same. I’ll attach a picture. I’m reaching out to the company for a new part and will update this review along the way. - The middle divider between drawers had the drawer tracks upside down. I didn’t figure this out until the end. So I had to take it apart and then figure out how to dismantle the pre installed parts. Thank god this is possible to do. The good: - Was not scammed. This is a real product, and the one in the pictures. I could barely get the 200lb box into my apartment, so there was no way a return was ever going to happen. - This thing arrived SO EARLY! Estimate was like 2/7-3/11 and it arrived 1/24. Good surprise! - the quality is much better than I expected. The top is actually nice and solid and the materials are on the better end of MDF. I ordered another MDF piece that was awful quality and put it together first, so it was a relief that this maker used a better product. - Despite being 200lbs and making it from California to NYC in record time, there was only one smudge/scratch spot on the wall side. The box was torn up and had holes and it all stayed together relatively unharmed! - I also like how they included the parts in this organized package. I’ll update with my part replacement as that progresses, just wanted to put up a review asap in case anyone else like me is stalking this seller, waiting for a review!! ... show more

This thing is really solid and looks nice. I love the locking wheels. If you want the island to truly lock in place, I suggest putting one locking wheel on each end. We originally installed the wheels as instructed, but the end without locking wheels kept scooting about. So we swapped the wheels such that the locking ones were opposite each other on the long side. It worked great. ... show more

Quite disappointed in the quality. I’ve put together many other pieces of furniture in the past. This was by far the worse. Dowels the did not fit snugly, screws that did not grab or hold the manufactured wood. Nothing in the assembly process went well. 2 hrs into the project, I gave up. After 2 days of corresponding with the rep, I then decided to send it back. The product is made in Viet Nam according to the box. It is impeccably boxed and it was near impossible to get everything back the way it came. Red flags. Don’t waste your time and money. ... show more

This is a well-engineered product, packaged well for a long trip. As advertised, the doors and drawer faces are beautiful natural wood with nice grain, stained mahogany. There were a few imperfections which I chose to ignore. Two drawer backs had to be filed to fit a groove which wasn’t machined correctly. But considering the number of parts which had to fit perfectly, it was quite well executed. I used my set of mechanic tools extensively, and it took about three days to put together.
