    • Forget Paperlike!
The media could not be loaded. When I got my iPad Pro, I spent quite a bit of money on it so I wanted the best for it. I planned to use it daily for taking notes and journaling at work, then using it for entertainment at home. I write in my journaling app every day (Zinnia is awesome BTW) so I needed something that felt good to use. Writing with the Apple Pencil on glass just feels unnatural and I didn’t want to scratch my screen, so I Googled the best screen protector. Sure enough, Paperlike was the top result. I purchased it right away ($45 for two screen protectors) and it came pretty quickly. The application of the Paperlike wasn’t easy. It was actually pretty terrible. The crappy little stickers didn’t hold like they were supposed to, but I managed to get it on my iPad straight after some struggles. I began writing every day and I loved it. Unfortunately, my bliss didn’t last long. After just 3 days, there were tons of scratches on my screen. I decided this was the price of writing on the screen and ignored it. After 2 weeks, I could barely see through the scratches anymore. What a joke. The way my screen looked made me second guess if an iPad was for me. Paperlike may be the biggest name, but it’s not even close to the best product. I Googled “Paperlike alternative” and found a few blogs that listed the best options at the time. This product was the top option on two different sites, so I thought surely it’s got to be decent. I ordered it and it arrived in just a day. The application process was so awesome! It was super easy and I didn’t feel stressed or worried that I would do it wrong. The plastic frame that comes with it is perfect and my screen protector looked flawless. It was such a fun install I wish I could do it again just for kicks. Once I got to feel this screen protector with my fingers, I was a little worried. It’s way more abrasive/rough than the Paperlike. It was alarming. It feels like a fine sandpaper. I was worried it might wear down my pencil tips. It hasn’t. I’m still using the same tip I started with two months ago. After a month with this screen protector, I can say it is fantastic! The Paperlike had hundreds of scratches where I wrote notes or colored on my iPad. After a month on this one, and almost NOTHING! It has one super tiny scratch where I pressed harder, but aside from that, it looks like the day I bought it! (Watch my video! It looks so nice, even after a month of daily writing and coloring!) It works great with the apple pencil and easy application and the material feels amazing , only downside is that it makes the touchscreen is a little difficult to use, otherwise great product!

Tbh, it’s not what I like, the texture kinda rough. Not smooth enough. Maybe some people like paper texture. But I had better than this. But so far easy to apply.
