First Impression: I decided to try this MOBDIK Paperfeel protector because I use my iPad mostly for sketching and note-taking, and I wanted that natural “paper” feel everyone talks about. The packaging was neat and professional, with two protectors, cleaning kits, and clear step-by-step instructions. The sheets looked thin but durable, with a matte texture you can actually feel when you run your fingers over it — not glossy like regular films. Real Experience: Applying it took patience, but the included guide stickers helped keep everything aligned. Once on, the difference was immediate — writing with the Apple Pencil feels much more controlled, almost like using a fine pen on high-quality paper. The matte surface also cuts glare dramatically, so it’s easier to draw near a window or under bright lights. There’s a slight softening of display sharpness (as expected with Paperfeel textures), but the tradeoff for precision and comfort is totally worth it. The anti-fingerprint finish works well too — it stays clean longer than glossy protectors. Helpful Conclusion: Perfect for artists, students, and anyone who writes or sketches often on their iPad. For a low price, this is actually really impressive for a paper-like screen protector. I will say, the screen isn’t as sensitive and it requires just a bit more pressure when it comes to tapping on things. Honestly, I find it more useful having this buffer since my hand used to tap other things by accident. Overall, it’s a nice screen protector that feels great and actually makes me want to use my iPad more often. Tip for applying: I found that just pressing and moving the bubbles toward the edges helps to get rid of them. Easy to install, just follow the directions or watch the video that shows how to install it. I actually love the grit that this thing has, but using it with the original nib on my samsung pen made it feel like my writing was heavy and put more strain on my wrist. So I tried a metal nib... DO NOT go this route. I ended up with scratches all over the screen protector even when I wasn't trying to press hard while writing, which didn't happen with the normal rubber nib. Which is a shame because the metal on this felt SO GOOD, like a real pen on paper. Oh well... I'm going to see if there's an alternative nib to use on this screen protector, and install the second one that it came with. I may update this review if I find the perfect match. EDIT ON 11/31/2025: Bought a Hard Nib for the pen and it's the perfect balance. Glides more smoothly over the screen protector, doesn't scratch! It might scratch the screen protector over time, but with general usage it seems like it will be ok. If you're worried, the typical felt tip nibs will work fine, they just have more grip. Wrecked my pencil tip in less than a month… I’m an artist and wanted to find a cheaper alternative to paperlike, so I could be more comfortable drawing on my iPad. This screen protector works alright for the most part, and has a good texture, but it seems to just eat right through my pencil tip. I recently replaced my tip and when I started using this, a tip that usually lasts me 1-2 years with frequent use suddenly was worn down within a month of using it. I do tend to draw with a hard press, so if you draw lightly it may eat away less if your pencil, but if you tend to press harder when you’re writing, drawing, or coloring, this screen protector may damage your pencil if you aren’t careful. It’s easy and intuitive to put on, but there were some bubbles that I found difficult to work out, and after drawing on it for a week or two I noticed that the screen protector was covered in scratches from regular use with my pencil, which made the screen very distracting when I was working. If you have no other option, and don’t want to spend 40$ on a screen protector, it works, but it will need to be replaced often and will likely lead to you buying more Apple Pencil tips than you ever could imagine. Also not the easiest to clean, stuff sticks to it hard and you have to really scrub it to clean it . ... show more
