MOB Beauty’s Cream Clay Blush is gorgeous. I ordered shade M72, Natural Earthy Rose. I have a pale olive complexion but am a bit darker than usual right now as my (slight) summer tan holds on longer than expected, and I love the way the shade looks on me. As the description says, it gives me a nice, natural flush of color, which is my preferred make up look—me, but better. I also really like the texture of the blush. It’s quite creamy and of very good quality; I found it pretty easy to apply, and it worked well with a brush. My one complaint, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that the compact is very hard to open. The container that holds the blush wasn’t glued properly onto the bottom of the compact, so it attaches easily and falls into the top of the compact. When it does that, which is all the time, it is very difficult to open the compact. It’s impossible to open at the normal way, and I have to pry it open from the sides, which leaves the top of the compact kind of bowing out on the sides. The problem with that is since this is a cream blush, I’m worried it is going to dry out more quickly since the compact is not air tight. I think this is a one off issue, but I felt obligated to mention it in my review.

I saw this blush mentioned a bunch of times on social media and really wanted to try it. I was a little nervous about the intense red color at first. It actually goes on more pinky toned and looks like a really beautiful flush. It applied really nicely with a slightly dense brush. I was able to build it up with light layers. It blended out easily and did not look patchy on me. It lasted on my oily skin pretty well through the day.

This blush is beautiful in every way! I love the natural ingredients and the long list of harmful chemicals it doesn’t include. The texture is silky and blends easily with my fingertips - so smooth and mistake-proof! It’s highly pigmented too, so just a little gives a lovely, natural flush. I have fairly pale skin, and the M72 Natural Earthy Rose is a great color for me - blends nicely without looking too garish! I often have trouble using blush because it can get a bit clownish. Not with this blush - looks natural! The brand’s values make me even happier with this purchase - sustainable packaging, cruelty-free, and no animal-derived ingredients (huge PLUS!). It feels good to support a company that’s kind to both skin and planet. You can really tell the quality from the first use. It wears beautifully all day without feeling greasy or heavy. I’ll definitely be purchasing more products from this company - this blush is absolutely worth every penny!

I LOVE the color of this blush, and the cream consistency blends beautifully into my skin. It makes me feel fresh and feminine. I just use my fingertips to grab a little product and rub it along my cheekbones, but I imagine you could also use a makeup brush. The only reason I am docking a star is the packaging. The container wasn't glued well together, so I had to force the blush open and then reglue the black part to the bottom of the blush. Kind of difficult to explain, but I would expect better construction at this price point. I saw another review mention the same issue, so clearly this wasn't a one-off issue. Otherwise, I highly recommend this blush.
