I wanna go into this and say that I am no expert guitarist. I got this as a bit of a learning experience, since I've always wanted to give guitar playing a shot, and having a complete set like this is really nice. Even though this guitar doesn't come with a whammy bar, they're overrated anyways (plus, if you seriously want one, they can apparently be installed after the fact). What you do get is the guitar, case, four picks, strap, amp, 1/4" cord, and an extra set of strings. The guitar already came strung up, and was reasonably close to standard tuning on mine (according to my app, it was 8 cents off, whatever that means). I decided to let mine set for about a week or so, and after that amount of time, it was only 4 cents off according to my app. Apparently temperature fluctuations can affect that, but that seemed like a fairly decent test. The strings included are "extra light," so don't expect to be playing any Korn or Pantera or anything like that with these. They do have a fairly bright tone to them, and when coupled with a delay pedal I borrowed from a friend, sounds pretty nice. The included amp was a real shocker to me, as it's not only wireless, but it has a decent bit of kick to it as well. It's no Marshall stack, but it can definitely compete against a television. I didn't have any heavier strings or distortion pedals to really push the low end of the amp, but on mids and highs, it sounded pretty clean, with no real major static or crackling to my ears. The strap is kinda cheap, but out of everything included, I'm okay with that being the weak point of this kit. I've been playing off and on with this for about a month, and I'm really happy with it. Most of what I'll probably end up doing with it will be through a DAW, but for a beginner kit, I don't feel like I've missed out on anything, other than maybe a pair of wire cutters for replacing strings. Those are dirt cheap though, so that's no biggie. Yeah, I'm very happy with this, and should continue to be happy with it for quite a while.

This is a great beginner guitar. It comes with a small, okay quality amplifier and the cord to connect it. It gives a beginner a place to start the basic understanding of using an amp. The sound quality is good. It came with an extra set of strings as well. They aren't the best quality strings, but they work. It looks really sleek and nice. This is a really good place to start learning electric guitar.

This arrived very well packaged inside a foam bag, inside of the above averagely padded gig bag. This is Musily's take on the Les Paul Special. It is a bolt on neck, two humbucker, one volume, one tone, three way switch guitar. I like the Yellow, they call it another name, but it's basically TV Yellow. The guitar weighs 7.5 lbs, which is very light for a Les Paul, and that's very good. The fit and finish are good, but not great. If you look at the last photo, you'll see extra paint bunched up at the neck pocket. Otherwise it was good. The set up was good-ish. Just a bit of neck relief. Action at 9/1,000's Low E and 7/1000's High E. Higher than I would like it normally. The neck radius is around 16 by measurement. The nut is bone, which is good. The nut is 43.4 mm in width, unusual size. And it's cut pretty well if you don't look too closely. The G, B, and High E are just a bit high. And intonation was close with the same strings being just a bit sharp at the twelfth fret. The tuners are not anything fancy, but they work fine. The fretboard is rosewood, which is always nice on a budget guitar. The neck carve is a comfortable moderately slim C. Very nice in the hand. The body of the guitar has a belly carve, rather than the typical Les Paul slab. The electronics work perfectly. The pickups are quite muddy, but for a beginner they are just fine. This will not be a gigging guitar, unless you replace the pickups. The Tune o matic bridge and stoptail have some weight to them and function well. The action is a bit high, but there is some room to adjust the bridge downward, so there won't be any need to shim the neck. I played this guitar for a couple hours over the last two days and the combination of the light weight and comfortable neck with good fretwork and negligible fret sprout made for a very pleasant experience. Also, the extras that come with this guitar are all above average for this type of package and very usable. I've mentioned the gig bag. But the mini-amp is also very useful and USB rechargeable. Overall, this is a very good beginner guitar and guitar package. And for around 190 dollars with the current coupon it is a good value for money.

I am new to playing guitars and have no idea what I am doing. But this set is great for that. No pressure to getting something fancy. And to me, this guitar is gorgeous. I love everything that this comes with. The carrying case is well cushioned and comfortable to carry. The mini amp is fine and I like the other components. Works well.
