  • Toughest Wading Boot Ever
Size: 10 Color: Black
I am an active PNW fisherman, I usually fish at least 3-4 days a week. mostly bank fishing so boots are very important. I have burned through almost every high end version of Simms, but they just blow apart, and I am done with laces! I'm going on my second year with these devils canyons and they show very little sign of wear. The boa system is still working perfectly and having the ability to switch out soles to match the activity is the best feature. For best results with the life of your boots, keep them clean and dry. I clean and use a shoe dryer after every use. If there is one knock on this product it's that the cleats of the vibram soles do end up coming off, unlike the cleats on the felt which seems to be mounted so much better. With that said, Korkers support service is just as good as the Simms. My opinion on the latch for gravel guard is that it's unnessary. I Find that gravel guards of my G4's are snug enough that they don't ride up. Plus I am certain that was the reason that I kept breaking shoe laces on my old boots, as the gimmicky latch system never really worked well in real world conditions. ... show more

  • What took me so long to discover those boots?
Size: 10 Color: Black
So comfortable the first time I had them on, I wore so many wading boots in my life but nothing like this one. So easy to put them on and even easier to take them off. It gives you confidence while wading so you would concentrate more on catching fish and less on maintaining your footing. The best part is that they are safe to wear at the hotel or store after you remove the studded sole, it's worth every penny. Buy the next size up so you would have enough space to wear heavier wool socks or neoprene ones, I wear the neoprene socks. ... show more

  • Best wader boots I've ever owned!
Size: 11 Color: Black
These are lightweight and comfortable. The easiest to take on and off with the twist/release setup. The interchangeable soles are a great feature with a large amount of other options to try (I also purchased a felt pair that fit and have worked well). I bought my father the Dark Horse version for Father's day and he loves those as well. Make sure you grab the pin key that is attached to the wire system and tags. My father threw his away on accident. ... show more

  • Solid boots for Saltwater fishing on Rocks
Size: 10 Color: Black
Three years and these things are still going strong. At this point, I only use them saltwater fishing on rocks. Sometimes with stocking foot waders, but mostly with a wetsuit. I wear them over neoprene socks. I have replaced the spikes many times, but that's par for the course where I use them. Traction with the big spikes is fantastic. The same applies to protection and ankle support. I occasionally swim with them, but they are heavy. Downsides. The boots take a long time to dry. So if they are salted up, I rinse them out and then... long time to dry. They are usually back in the saltwater before I can dry them out. The boots are awful on the beach. Sand gets everywhere, even when I've wrapped them up for Beach/Rocks days. Sand really screws up the BOA system. I no longer wear them on sand or even near sand. ... show more

  • Beautiful boots, my pair couldn’t keep soles on..
Size: 13 Color: Black
I absolutely feel in love with these boots, had to have them. Found them and ordered on amazon. Fit great, BOA worked great. Looked great. Boots are beautiful. Took them out for their first trip in Utah and less than an hour in I had soles flopping off through an intermediate trail. Was very disappointing for the boots to be unable to hold the soles on appropriately, was quite a bummer to be unveiled on my fishing trip. Secondly, on the carbide sole, a ton of the carbide points fell out after that first use aswell… questionable quality on these $200+ pair of wading boots. In Korkers defense, I could have gotten a faulty pair… would love to repair the impression I have now formed of Korker’s wading boots.. (in the photo you can see how over half of the carbide tips fell out of the sole) ... show more

  • Not for Saltwater
Size: 10 Color: Black
I like the boots but the Boa laces is a pain if you are using in saltwater. Im not sure if its the salt or the sand but they knobs become extremely difficult to pull out after using them in the surf. I contacted Korkers a gew months ago about thisbissue and they sent me a rebuild kit for the Boa. Even after replacing the Boa system the same problem has returned. Pass on these if you are using in or around salt water ... show more
