  • Good for the price
Size: 24in x 10ft Color: 35%vlt
Overall: Good value for money, it does the job, it was hard to apply but it was my first time so I cannot say for sure that it was the products fault. Rating: 5/5 Reason for the rating: The item seems to be a good quality for the price, the tint block the sun enough while still being able to see outside clearly. Application was not the best but with me being a beginner at it it might've been my fault. I am sure with more practice I can get it to look much better, with less bubbles and sticking better around the edges. Below I will list more details from my experience. Since it was my first time applying tint film I went for one of the cheapest ones so i wouldn't worry too much if I ruined it but it turned out pretty good. - It does the job, blocks the sun and you can still see outside with pretty good visibility. - It did crease a little bit but it was not that noticeable once its on the glass. - It turned out with a bunch of bubbles and I could squeeze out some of them but not all. - When trying to squeeze out bubbles the tint if easily scratched. - The corners are hard to get to stick and therefore they start peeling off after some time, especially at the bottom where it will get rubbed against the rubber sealing of the windows, for this I found it was best to cut it with a razor a tiny bit above the sealing where it is still sticky and now it seems like it is doing okay but there that tiny gap on the bottom that doesn't look that good (but it is okay for my old truck, at least I get sun protection). ... show more

  • pretty good stuff!
Size: 30in x 5ft Color: 5%vlt
likes- performing well. It was a challenge for me when I first started. But I am not a window tint guy either. Once I finally got the directions read a few times I finally figured out how to remove the backer film off the tint. Then this stuff laid right on the window and adhered very well with no bubbling. I also placed this film on polycarbonate and so far, no bubbling has occurred. May later but it hasn't yet, been about 3-4 months now. The heat difference compared to other windows is very noticeable. Much cooler on the inside of this window than the other windows. Tint color blended perfect with other windows. Definitely will use this stuff again. ... show more

  • Know what your doing and it will work
Size: 24in x 25ft Color: 20%vlt
I've bought and installed film before, so I had a sense of what to expect. This film is good quality, thick but not too thick, seemed to stick well to the windows. I've only had it on for three days now, but it had made a noticable difference in heat levels for my car. It has helped my AC work better, which is a blessing for a small, old car like mine. The key is to know how to install it and be PATIENT! Take your time and ensure you've got a good fit before you take your squeegee to it. Use copious amounts of soapy water, don't be afraid to spray it all over the film and the window before you set it down on the window. If you buy this, please do yourself a favor and at least watch a YouTube video or two on how to install this, you will make it much easier and it will look much nicer. At the end of the day, this is not 100% professional film. And unless you have years of experience doing tinting, it will not come out as a professional job, and that's ok. This is good film, it works well and looks good. I bought the 25 foot roll and that was enough to do 8 standard duvets it passengers windows if you plan and cut well without any installation errors. Your milage may vary based on how you cut and apply the film. In the picture, the windshield strip is a different product, not this film. ... show more

  • Trash tint
This product is low quality and will fall off the very next day you install it. Starts with bubbling then it falls right off

  • Seems very nice. Pretty easy to use. I should have gone darker tint but that's on me.
Size: 24in x 10ft Color: 35%vlt
Moved my computer into an different room at work. Better space but I've got one window that was allowing sun to beam in at me right behind the row of monitors I use - just about blinding me while I'm trying to work. I used this on that window and it was pretty simple to install. I do wish I had gone just a little darker but I might try just adding a second layer of this and see if it works. If it fails I'll just buy more in a darker tint from this same company now that I've kind of gotten used to it. ... show more

Looked good at first. 4 years later tint has faded to the point that it does not look tinted at all.

  • Exactly what we needed
Size: 20in x 5ft Color: 50%vlt
When we first received this, I thought that they’d sent the wrong product. No directions were included, and it looked like one small roll of cellophane. My husband suggested googling “how to tint windows,” and it was easy to find a YouTube video that was very helpful. So this is what I wish I’d known ahead of time: Cut film to approximate size (a couple inches too big on all sides). Clean glass well — I scraped it smooth with a razor, and used window cleaner. Spray glass thoroughly w/ water (from spray bottle containing water and 3 drops of Dawn). Take two pieces of tape — I used a stronger mailing tape, and place on corner of film — when you pull pieces of tape apart, film separates (discard clear side). Starting from one edge of the glass, gently roll film onto glass. Use squeegee to gently remove all water and air bubbles from between film and glass; if you spray film w/ water first, it’s easier to squeegee. Wipe both sides of glass w/ clean soft cloth (like an old cotton t-shirt), and hold up to light to see if you need to squeegee a bit more. Film is slightly sticky, but manageable enough to remove air bubbles after placement. We used this to tint a window for a cabinet door. It took me two tries, but it looks great. BTW, in case you didn’t know (like I didn’t), the percentage refers to how much light the tint lets through — the higher the percentage, the lighter the tint. ~Jen E. ... show more
