  • Good for the price
Size: 24in x 10ft Color: 35%vlt
Overall: Good value for money, it does the job, it was hard to apply but it was my first time so I cannot say for sure that it was the products fault. Rating: 5/5 Reason for the rating: The item seems to be a good quality for the price, the tint block the sun enough while still being able to see outside clearly. Application was not the best but with me being a beginner at it it might've been my fault. I am sure with more practice I can get it to look much better, with less bubbles and sticking better around the edges. Below I will list more details from my experience. Since it was my first time applying tint film I went for one of the cheapest ones so i wouldn't worry too much if I ruined it but it turned out pretty good. - It does the job, blocks the sun and you can still see outside with pretty good visibility. - It did crease a little bit but it was not that noticeable once its on the glass. - It turned out with a bunch of bubbles and I could squeeze out some of them but not all. - When trying to squeeze out bubbles the tint if easily scratched. - The corners are hard to get to stick and therefore they start peeling off after some time, especially at the bottom where it will get rubbed against the rubber sealing of the windows, for this I found it was best to cut it with a razor a tiny bit above the sealing where it is still sticky and now it seems like it is doing okay but there that tiny gap on the bottom that doesn't look that good (but it is okay for my old truck, at least I get sun protection). ... show more

  • pretty good stuff!
likes- performing well. It was a challenge for me when I first started. But I am not a window tint guy either. Once I finally got the directions read a few times I finally figured out how to remove the backer film off the tint. Then this stuff laid right on the window and adhered very well with no bubbling. I also placed this film on polycarbonate and so far, no bubbling has occurred. May later but it hasn't yet, been about 3-4 months now. The heat difference compared to other windows is very noticeable. Much cooler on the inside of this window than the other windows. Tint color blended perfect with other windows. Definitely will use this stuff again. ... show more

  • Looks amazing
Size: 36in x 20ft Color: 20%vlt
The media could not be loaded. I waited a week to write this review to see how it looked once it was completely set. First off, watch a few videos on how to install the tint and use A LOT of soapy water. I can’t stress the soapy water enough. The first day after installing. I wasn’t completely happy. But after a few more days, the spots that looked like I messed up installing, dried up and looked great. I messed up when taking the backer off the film on the first window and it stuck to itself. I pulled it apart, but it damaged it and you can see it once installed and you have to redo it. A problem I wouldn’t have had if I had used more water and had a helper for the large piece for the sliding door. This is a great product and will look amazing if you take your time and follow the instructions ... show more

  • Is it to install made a big difference?
Size: 24in x 25ft Color: 5%vlt
I put this in my motorhome on all the windows and it works so good it cut the heat down from coming through the windows. I live in Arizona and I’m a female and was very easy to use. I recommend buying the little installing kit also.

  • Not my fave
Size: 24in x 15ft Color: 20%vlt
This tint was far too thin and made it difficult to use. The quality was low due to the thickness and made the installation difficult. The tint color was appropriate, but it did not adhere to the window as well as others I’ve tried.

  • Exactly what we needed
Size: 20in x 5ft Color: 50%vlt
When we first received this, I thought that they’d sent the wrong product. No directions were included, and it looked like one small roll of cellophane. My husband suggested googling “how to tint windows,” and it was easy to find a YouTube video that was very helpful. So this is what I wish I’d known ahead of time: Cut film to approximate size (a couple inches too big on all sides). Clean glass well — I scraped it smooth with a razor, and used window cleaner. Spray glass thoroughly w/ water (from spray bottle containing water and 3 drops of Dawn). Take two pieces of tape — I used a stronger mailing tape, and place on corner of film — when you pull pieces of tape apart, film separates (discard clear side). Starting from one edge of the glass, gently roll film onto glass. Use squeegee to gently remove all water and air bubbles from between film and glass; if you spray film w/ water first, it’s easier to squeegee. Wipe both sides of glass w/ clean soft cloth (like an old cotton t-shirt), and hold up to light to see if you need to squeegee a bit more. Film is slightly sticky, but manageable enough to remove air bubbles after placement. We used this to tint a window for a cabinet door. It took me two tries, but it looks great. BTW, in case you didn’t know (like I didn’t), the percentage refers to how much light the tint lets through — the higher the percentage, the lighter the tint. ~Jen E. ... show more
