I was afraid this oil would be too heavy and when I received it I thought that was true. However, the oil absorbs quickly and give this 'glow'. I have very thick fine hair and using 1-2 pumps on the ends really helps. When I'm ready to wash I use it all over and leave it in 15-20 mins before washing. Can't say enough about this oil. This is a nice finishing spray to add shine and softness to hair but don't make the mistake of spraying it directly on your hair. Rather, spray a bit in your palm, rub your palms together and then work it evenly through your hair. Don't use too much--try just one spritz at a time--or you'll end up with greasy-looking hair.     • Smells great, a true oil not a gloss like most.
I like this, worth the price on Prime Day. Unlike Verb Ghost Oil or Bumble & Bumble or Redken oils that act as more of a gloss, this is a true oil which really does smooth my ends. However can make hair look a bit greasier than the others.

So I tried this product on both my wet hair and dry hair to make sure there wasn’t a “right” way to do this. The dry version: even a little bit made my hair feel like I hadn’t washed it for several days. The wet hair version: It was like I bathed in grease. I went to dry my hair with my curling iron and it didn’t seem to be getting dry. That’s when I realized that my hair was THAT greasy. I went to a new hair stylist and she used this when styling my hair and recommended it. It's WONDERUL! I have tried it both after drying my hair and before. I personally find it works better when I put it on wet hair before I dry it. It makes my hair shiny and soft, without feeling/looking greasy (using the right amount). But beware, start with a very small amount and move up. I need about a half a squirt. Then I rub it in my hands and rub it through my hair.
