Let me preface this by saying that I’m in my early 30s, and I’ve had a lifelong struggle with oily skin and large pores. Now that I’m in my 30s, I’m looking for anti-aging products as well. I found this after looking for a substitute for a well-known brand’s snail mucin, which at first I tried substituting with yam mucin which, while alright, it was definitely not comparable to the effects of snail mucin. This Bean Essence, though, definitely is 100% comparable to the snail mucin. It’s more expensive than most snail mucin, but if you have the money, I’d say it’s worth it. You might see more benefit to this if you’re a dry-skinned person. Given the hydration boost, it’s almost too much for my oily skin, so I only put it on during the night. However, the benefits are worth the slight oiliness. My pores have never looked better, and my skin looks plump and happy. Also, I’d like to point out that I also have sensitive skin due to seborrheic dermatitis. I took a risk with this, since I’d read that fermented anything would trigger that type of dermatitis. I can’t so much as show a bottle of retinol or vitamin c to my skin without it getting angry and itchy, so I was nervous. I’m happy to say that I didn’t get any reaction whatsoever. If you’re nervous to try fermented products because your skin is reactive, this might be a good option!! All in all, a quality product. A little pricy, but if you have the money it’s totally worth it.

This bean essence has been all the rave and I can definitely see why. I wasn't sure if this was more of a younger skin type product at first, but I thought I'd give it a try. If you have mature skin, try this. It works on all age groups and I can attest to it working for more mature skin types. It leaves your skin moisturized, plump and glossy, even at an older age. It cleans deep down into the pores and really leaves a glow to your skin. I was at the gym and a lady two days in a row told me my skin looked glowing. I use this product only a couple times a week and love it. You will too.

Mine is leaking from the top , so I’ve lost quite a bit of the product but love it otherwise. Super silky and so far doesn’t feel like it clogs my pores or caused any irritation.

I love the whole Mixsoon line. This serum is FANTASTIC and I use it twice every day. On days that my skin is lightly peeling (I use retinol) I notice this can help get my skin super smooth as it reduces the flaking skin while also hydrating it. I have not tried snail mucin but this product has really helped clear my skin and give it the moisturized glass look and feeling without the use of living creatures. 10/10 try it!

love that it totally works on getting off dead skin on my face. it's very smooth and light. it's not oily at all. I rubbed it on my face for about five minutes until the essence has been totally absorbed then just used my toner to wipe it off. no water or soap needed to wash it off.

I was expecting the same result as seen on the video but it doesn’t matter how long or how hard I rob/message it in, I did not see any dead skin but I feel like it still works. I'm 35 with dry skin. I want to age slowly and gracefully, so I really add a lot of steps and moisture into my skin care routine. When the snail mucin by Cosrx with viral, I also got it. While that bottle is larger at about the same price point, I definitely prefer this. I didn't feel a difference with Corsx, although it was novel and fun. I read about this on Reddit, and have used it for about two weeks. I immediately FELT a difference in my skin, and how supple this made me feel. I have very sensitive skin, and it hasn't given me any reactions or break outs. I will definitely be repurchasing this item.
