The first picture was taken in 0.5x camera, the second was taken 1x camera (regular iPhone) I did this bc pictures are deceiving.. looking at the curtains in person. It looks like the first picture. These have a nice velvety feel and the color is true to the photos. They are also not super heavy which is nice if you have a big window that needs several sets of panels. Definitely not blackout but reduced the glare of the morning sun a lot, enough to sleep in
