I bought these MIUCO Blackout Curtains in dark gray for my bedroom. I was a little concerned that the shade may be a little too dark, but it's a fabulous, rich, dark gray with a lovely silk-like pattern in the material. My window is 72 inches wide, and initially, I only got 2 panels, but, it didn't give me any fullness, so I definitely recommend two sets if your window is similar in size. I also bought a double rod and a set of semi-sheers in white with gray running through it giving me the option for some filtered sunlight when I want it.. & the darkness when I need it. I purchased the road and sheers on Amazon, as well and I am quite pleased with all of the items. The curtains are a perfect weight; enough to feel substantial and well made but not so much that they feel "winter-like". They are well sewn with little weights in the bottom hems to ensure they fall nicely and I'm sure it also helps with wrinkles at least, somewhat. That was another positive.. while the curtains had creases from being folded, they were not full of wrinkles. In the picture I posted, I had not even gone over them with a steamer yet! They work well to darken the room, the only light you really get is from the very top and a slight amount on the sides which can be remedied with a wrap around rod if total darkness is your goal. As of now, I couldn't be more pleased with how these turned out and would not hesitate to recommend or purchase for another room in my apartment. ... show more

These room darkening curtains are soft to the touch and feel comfortable and pleasant in everyday use. The fabric has a nice texture that looks neat once hung and drapes well without feeling stiff or heavy. In terms of light intake, the curtains do a good job reducing brightness while still allowing a soft, diffused light into the room. They work well for creating a cozy atmosphere without making the space feel completely dark. The size and length match the description accurately, and the panels fit the window as expected. Installation is very easy — the curtain rod slides through smoothly, and the curtains hang evenly right away. These are great curtains! I love the slight texture if the fabric (stitching). It makes the curtains not too plain without being busy. I also LOVE the small weights hidden in the bottom seam so they lay beautifully! They were not very wrinkled and looked great right out of the box! They are definately 100% blackout. They totally block all the light.......something that I thought I wanted until I had it. (Ooops!) The only other problem with these is that they are very vibrant. The color was great, just more intense than I expected. I am returning them, but a little sad, because they are great quality and design!! I ordered 4 sets of teal Miuco Textured Room Darkening Grommet Curtain 52x63 Panels on Friday and received them on Sunday. Each curtain is well made with no flaws. I ironed each panel before hanging and they look great. The color is consistent, the texture is subtle, room darkening very effective, and I like having the weights to keep the curtains taut. I have these hanging on Kenney Beckett 5/8" standard decorative window 28-48" pewter curtain rods which I purchased at the same time from Amazon. The color of the curtain grommets and the pewter rods complement each other, and the curtains slide easily on the rods to open or close. An excellent purchase at a great price. Next will be the teal Miuco 52x84 curtains to cover my sliding glass doors. ... show more

I first purchased these curtains 6mos ago when I could not go out to shop due to the start of the pandemic. I needed to find blackout curtains that didn't have the usual heavy, rubbery feel some of them do. I was also hoping for a nice texture and nice draping. I thought I'd be ordering and returning curtains for a while before I found them, if ever. I was so surprised when the package arrived a few days after I ordered. First, the color was spot on with what is advertised. When I took the first set out of the package they had a really nice feel to them and then I noticed a very faint textured pattern up close. I'm referring to a really subtle texture that usually costs a fortune to buy. Then as I'm feeling them they feel so silky and the blackout fabric is also silky. (not rubbery) When we hung them up and I steamed the wrinkles out from the packaging they were beautiful, I LOVE THEM!! My friend who helped me hang them said "these are so gorgeous. They look so expensive." And, they do. So, when I just purchased some furniture I needed new curtains for the living room. Without hesitation I went online and order these in the light grey. Once again, perfect, gorgeous and luxurious. And, did I mention the draping? Just like they are pictured. They drape perfectly. The quality of the finishes are top notch.. quality seamtress work.
