I am petite, and it hits me right at the knee, which is what i wanted. I am 117 lbs and I ordered the XS and the Small because some reviewers recommended sizing up. The XS fit me perfectly, like a glove, hugging curves nicely but still comfortable because of the stretch. I am planning to wear it as a day dress, but you could also dress this up for an evening outfit, with the right shoes and accessories.

Purchased for a summer dress. You can dress up or down easily. I wore to a business event with beige cardigan and brown heels and received many compliments. It is fitted - I paired with Spanx shorts, but flattering. I wear a large top and between a 10 and 12 in pants and purchased an xl in this. Wash on cold and hang dry and have seem zero shrinkage. The rougeing helps hide things too!

Honestly, this would be the perfect maternity dress. It is so cute and though not super soft, a good material. It is smaller in the chest than listed and loose in the belly. They almost left too much fabric when doing the ruching on the sides. That being said, unless you have a big chest (I'm a D, size 5) go a size down (Small worked for me, medium just sagged in the belly too much). The small is tight in the chest, I wouldn't do it if you are any bigger than a D but it works and I'm looking forward to wearing it this summer. I love that it isn't skintight, a great easy comfortable cute throw on after the beach. And the colors are gorgeous! I have the bright green and the red (which is pinky red, not fire engine, more like a watermelon).

I went up to extra large. So basically 42 DD breasts do not fit in this dress! There is no stretch & I could barely get it over my head & the fabric felt cheap. I packaged it to go back the same day I received it.
