    • Great radiator, here are some tips.
When an auto shop replaces the radiator they evacuate the AC system and pull the radiator stack as one piece. It makes things quick and easy. If you’re doing this yourself, you will likely follow the instructions on the Mishimoto site and separate the stack and remove the radiator alone. I recommend that you pull the fan shroud off before removing the radiator. (Two bolts in the top of the fan shroud, the bottom slides into groves) Same for reinstalling, the put the fan shroud back on after installing the radiator gives more room to move the radiator into place. The bolts attaching A/C condenser to the radiator to the radiator are hard align and hard to get to. I used an angled speed wrench instead of a ratchet which made it easier. If you can get two bolts in one side, it will take some finesse to get the other two in place but they should align (slotted holes in the condenser brackets). It will take more than the 1.5 hours. Expect at least twice that long. You DO NOT need to cut or modify the radiator! Do not forget the bolt attaching the AC line bracket to the drivers side of the radiator. You may need to get a second pare of hands to help with aligning the air dams or pulling the AC line bracket out of the way during installation. All plastic shrouds and factory surrounds will fit back on the vehicle if installed properly and if the fan shroud was centered when reinstalling (slotted holes). In the end, it seems to work great, is perfectly installed and seems to keep my jeep about 10 degrees cooler. Best of luck and stay patient when installing! ... show more

Radiator came faster then stated. Craftsmanship is top notch, everything fit perfectly. Came with new hardware, drain plug, top rubber mounts and radiator cap. Only took a few hours to install. Temperatures seem to be running a little lower than in the past. Temperature does not move under stress while going up long inclines. So far extremely happy with my purchase. ... show more

2017 JKU ... Direct fit . First thing's first.. This radiator is sexy af.. the welds look like perfection and the overall quality of this thing is excellent. With that said,, only time will tell, so if I have any issues from this point forward, I will update my review. The install from start to finish was about 1.5 hour. I was not in any hurry and took my time to do everything properly. I used a youtube video as a guide but it was all pretty straight forward except for one of the hidden bolts that the video was great on showing me. If your bumper is completely stock (mine is not) this may take you a little longer due to all the plastic clips and crap from the factory... Over all this is a very average install and anyone with some mechanical ability should be able to do it. I hated paying this much for a radiator, but I was on my second replacement in 2 years, so I had to do something different. Hoping this V2 holds up better than the original that i see so many reviews on. I'll keep you all posted ... show more

Great upgrade- far better than oem and most other aftermarket radiators. It would be nice if the cap was a little bigger. Comes with upper mounts, no lowers. Perfect fitment. Worth the monet.

Over the winter, I upgraded to thirty sevens and 4.88 In my JK And everything was good, but as the warmer weather started to get here. I noticed my temperature gauge higher than normal So I started throwing parts at it New thermostat New hose's new water pump New fan Even ran without thermostat for a few months as they had me convinced online that it wouldn't run right without factory Tstat Well, I finally got one and still had the problem. I've come to the conclusion, that after I've added all this extra weight. Bumpers, rims, tires, and then the gear that it's just too much for the factory radiator to handle under hot conditions. I put this radiator in factory thermostat and everything's back to normal Take it out on the highway on the hottest day. And the needle doesn't budge off halfway 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ... show more
