  • Love the look of this radiator
Absolutely beautiful, doesn’t leak, fits perfectly, performs great and was super easy to install. I will add if you plan to keep your factory fans this has the mounts to support that. Overall worth the purchase

  • Yes it fits a '97 1.8 liter Miata perfectly with no mods required
This is a nicely made aluminum radiator. The welds all look good, every fitting / mounting hole accurately placed identical to the factory radiator removed. Fans bolted right on, and the radiator dropped right into the lower mounting loops with no problem at all. Once installed the intake crossover tube assembly fit right into place. Make no mistake the radiator is thicker than the factory model, but no modifications were necessary to anything to install it. All in all a great value and easy install. ... show more

  • This is a quality radiator
Even though I took points off for value, this is a bit more expensive than many others, I think it was well spent money. It has a thicker core than stock or even other aluminum radiators & is more nicely finished than others too. While it fits well with the stock mounts & bolts, the added thickness means that the stock fans no longer clear the plastic intake on my '95 NA, a little trimming her & there fixed that issue though. ... show more

  • 1994 Miata
The media could not be loaded. The radiator is a pain to install if you don’t know what your doing id suggest not reusing the lower radiator pins because it doesn’t fit properly. The Install process can be made a lot easier with a second person to help from the top while you push the radiator from the bottom. Overall it’s an amazing upgrade and fits pretty well. Looks amazing and I used the fan shroud kit with fans by mishimoto and it works well ... show more

  • Quality Mishimoto radiator for DIU garage. Takes some skills but sure beats Mazda dealer pricing.
The product is reasonably easy to install for the DIU mechanic. The Mishimoto install assist video is misleading as to the ease of install, it does take some work. The new unit does not slide in easily without the mounting bracket in the engine bay being bent to achieve proper sitting of the rad. Next, the company should send rad clamps when ordering the radiator hoses (we ordered separately), not the cheap screw driver ones but clamp type of upgraded. The reconnecting of the electrical to the twin fan assembly should be easier. Additionally, one the electrical is connected, there is no obvious way to secure the wiring to the radiator as it risks being hit by belts and other moving parts at the front of the engine. We had to jury rig a solution. Again, not in the install video. Aside from the above, been driving the Miata MX5 for a few days now, no leaks, performing well. ... show more

  • High quality
I really like this rad, I don't really have much to add so I'll just give a few tips for anyone upgrading their Miata: - Fits really tight. I had to do a lot of wiggling to get it into my otherwise OEM engine bay. I reused the stock fans and attached them before putting the radiator in the car. Keep all of the bolts when you disassemble your stock cooling system, you'll reuse them. - If you're doing the coolant reroute at the same time, the top inlet is in the OEM location but you also have to consider that its closer to the engine. So I had to buy two 90 degree silicon elbows to go around the throttlebody. - I don't push my car very hard and I probably don't need the cooling capacity. This was a preventative maintenance item because the Miata's plastic-top radiator is known for splitting open. ... show more

  • Excellent choice for a upgrade.
Installed in a 1995 Mazda Miata with power steering and air. it while it fits snug, it fits well. It is also considerably lighter with greater cooling capacity. I installed it using the factory fans, again, a snug fit, but will fit. I would suggest as I did, to use a heavy poster paper taped covering the core as you lower the unit into place and install the fans However I would also like to acknowledge the vendor as my first unit arrived with some cosmetic packing damage, which they promptly sent a replacement unit. Thank you. Car enthusiasts take a lot of effort to get it right, it's good to see the vendors step up to meet that challenge. ... show more
