Description

It's time to cool off your hot-hatch with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit for the 2013+ Ford Focus ST. Ford released their 2.0T EcoBoost-powered Focus boasting the perfect combination of performance and practicality, however, the intercooling system left something to be desired. While the piping did feature sections of aluminum, the restrictive diameter and turbo muffler put a damper on the Focus ST's performance potential. We've replaced the hot-side pipe with mandrel-bent aluminum, both ditching the muffler and opening up the diameter to allow a 26% better flow through the hot-side. All of the degradation-prone rubber has also been swapped for wire- reinforced silicone, ensuring a long-lasting connection on the hot-side and a smoother flow through the cold-side pipe. Together the Focus ST Intercooler Pipe Kit grants a 21% increase in flow to and from the intercooler. The piping isn't the only part of this kit that increases flow. The bar-and-plate construction opens air channels within the core, allowing for the charged air to pass through more freely than the stock intercooler core. This upgraded all-aluminum construction aids in heat dissipation, warding off the dreaded heat-soak under demanding driving conditions, and delivering properly cooled air through the ST's intake manifold. The Focus ST Performance Intercooler Kit will also add 8 HP and 10 TQ to your power band and has a maximum horsepower rating of 550HP. The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit for your 2013+ is available in silver, black, or gold, with an option of wrinkle black or polished piping. As always, this intercooler kit is covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

I bought a salvage car. With the hot side intercooler piping damaged. This kit includes a very thick intercooler and all Intercooler piping. It changed the car now drives completely different much better throttle response and you really feel the boost kick in.

As far as the kit goes it's nice. I really liked the pipes. The one off the turbo was a little tricky. The intercooler it self seems very well made, but THE SCREW FOR THE MAP SENSOR IS TO SHORT. The other issue was with amazon. This is a 2 box deal. Not one 2. It clearly says 2 boxes on the box. My "replacement" was actually the other half of what I was supposed to get. Check your stuff I had the front end off my car when I got the first shipment. Only to find that I only had piping. The "replacement" was quickly sent out on a good note. It only contained the intercooler. I'm happy because I now have what I ordered 2 weeks later. I wrote this in hoping someone from Amazon sees it to address the issue of potentially sending half a shipment to someone else. BOTTOM LINE I WOULD GET THIS KIT AGAIN, BUT BE PREPARED TO BUY A 6M BOLT IF YOU HAVE A 2013 ST. ... show more

The product is great but the vendor was the problem.. I order the kit, it should have come with the cooler and pipes. All I received was the cooler. Amazon customer service had a hard time understanding what I needed. I ultimately sent it back and purchased straight from Mishimoto.
