These shoes are true to size. I bought them for a trip to Ireland. They are a great all weather shoe for dry and wet days. They also grip the ground to prevent slips and allow kids to climb. My son wears them to school on hot days and while his feet do get sweaty, they are still very comfortable for him. We plan to go skiing this winter and these should hold up great. I’ve washed them and they held up well. I will definitely keep buying this brand when he outgrows this size.

The shoe itself is sturdy; my three year old loves his high tops and they’re still in great shape after 6 months of wear. My older kid is harder on shoes; in less than a month he somehow destroyed the elastic pull cord. The woven cover came off of it to expose the elastic underneath; the elastic is now broken. Next time he’s getting regular Velcro. But fortunately the shoe still works thanks to the top Velcro closure; plus I could just replace with either more paracord or regular shoelaces. I don’t think this is a product defect, this is probably just my destructor-child working his magic on yet another pair of shoes. These shoes were great for our Cub Scout campout; he did a three-mile hike in them with no issues. The toes are still in perfect shape and that’s the usual first casualty of his shoes. The insoles and the bottom are holding up well, too. For a month of wear on my high-energy kiddo, that’s a minor miracle. I highly recommend.

I bought these for my daughter to wear on our camping trip. They fit perfectly and she loved how comfortable they were. We had some bad weather but these hiking boots kept her feet nice and dry. Definitely recommend

Bought my 2 and a half year old the Rose/Pink pair of these in a size 8.5. The purple and pink colors are a huge hit with her, the shoes are super cute and she was very excited to wear them. The first day she wore them she complained that the back of her heels hurt. I didn't see any red marks or blisters or anything so I'm not sure what was going on. Maybe that was just breaking the shoes in discomfort, maybe her socks were rubbing her heel wrong in the shoes. But the following trips out in them there were no complaints. My toddler wore them on several of the trails in Hocking Hills Ohio. She's pretty little still so we didn't do any very long hikes - maybe an hour. She did do a lot of climbing on rocks and jumping around and I think the shoes held up well to her roughness on them. Her feet didn't get wet the few times she walked through a puddle, and they seemed like they kept her steady on wet pavement and rocks. Very happy with the purchase

These boots were purchased in February of 2021 and I have worn them a great deal. I teach preschool and spend most of the day on my feet and walking. I probably wore them at least 2-3 days/week each year from November thru April. I wear a size 3.5 and weigh approximately 110-120 lbs. The treads are still in fairly good shape as shown in the photo and there are no tears or cracks. I keep the elastic cord fastened and use only the Velcro closure get them on and off. I do not consider them "Hiking Boots" and I do not wear them if there is more than a light snow cover on the ground. Water will enter the fabric areas but my feet have never really gotten wet wearing them. I am currently interested in buying another pair in a different color but the newer reviews have me concerned that the quality has diminished.

My toddler is 3 half and we got a size 7. I was concerned it wouldn’t fit but these fit great. Been really good during our hikes and walks. There’s been more stability in her walking and she feels more confident climbing and going down hills now thanks to these. Very happy with them and it’s been 4 months since I purchased them and still holding together great.
