This is a lightweight shaper. It is not hot in the summer. It smooths out all the muffins, is comfortable to wear all day, but it is definitely not firm control. I am disappointed that after just 2 or 3 wears the fabric begins to “run” or fray. In spite of this I have to keep ordering, because I need to wear a hernia belt, which is awful. Luckily this shaper gives good support in the belly button area, which is what I need so it is a super alternative to a hernia belt, and is comfortable to wear all day. I am a 38DD and the 38c fits perfectly with no noticeable spillage. It also has a nice uplifting effect in the bra area. I am 5 feet tall exactly and the torso is very long on this,, wish they would make a petite version. I have only tried on this item with a dress I will wear to an upcoming event. The item fits well - I am 5'8 190lb and 40DD. It is comfortable - not too tight, which is great, as I am just looking for smoothing, not compression. My only small gripe, is that there is a small seam that runs across the rear end that is visible. It isn't the end of the world, but it is a bit strange placement for a garment that is designed to eliminate bumps. ... show more

Perfect fit, perfect material. I bought two more. I was initially concerned that this might be made of material that would irritate my sensitive skin but it does not. The fit is great, it is comfortable and it does the job. This garment is well made and for large busted women it is a must.
