Since this is a UV resin you need a UV light, I see some people not being able to cure their resin and are using huge watts but I only ever needed a small uv flash light you can find on amazon. That being said there is some stuff that can prevent curing of the resin like: too much pigment. putting too much powder or ink or darker colored inks can prevent resin from curing all the way through. Make sure your colors are translucent or do curing in sections for more opaque color! If your mold or setting is not clear. An opaque colored mold can further inhibit curing, a clear resin piece should be okay for curing in a non-clear mold but clear molds help a ton for better curing. I also cure my pieces with the UV flash light and then leave them in the mold for a second. The piece is typically hot after curing, this is normal, so I like to let it cool for a sec and if I am ever worried about a complete cure I de-mold the piece and leave on my window sill for awhile before touching it too much. This helps a lot with open bezel pieces. Dullness I find is common in UV pieces, ESPECIALLY if the mold you are using is NOT shiny. Shiny molds produce a shine in the resin, non shiny molds make your pieces dull. I would either just dome the piece with more resin or polish it with resin polish, brings the shine right back! If you want to do darker colors and opaque glitters etc I suggest getting two part epoxy resin, its much easier but takes a little more time. and SAFETY. No matter the resin YOU NEED TO USE A MASK. Smoking and smell coming from the resin while curing it is normal, please wear a mask to and work in a well ventilated area to protect yourself. Resin is a chemical. GLOVES are also essential, please work with resin safely!

I love this UV resin!! I didn't used to want to bother with resin because of the smell and mixing and making a mess, I have to wear gloves, I have to wait for it to dry, I am an impatient crafter, I simply cannot! Then I came across this UV resin while watching videos about pin doming. I used to use mod podge dimensional magic but it took FOREVER to dry and makes the ink on my pins bleed. The Miraclekoo UV resin cures hard in 3 mins (for my small 1.5" pins)! Probably less but that's what I set my timer for. Bubbles are so much easier to pop, just wave a flame over it real quick with a lighter and poof! No more bubbles! It doesn't make my ink bleed and I can just use my dog pee detector (lol!) to cure it. Why not? It's a 12 LED 395nm UV flashlight and it works well with this resin. I built a little curing box for it so the UV light is contained and not exposed. I mostly use this for small things: pins, magnets, keychains, jewelry, purse hooks, some embellishments, nothing bigger than 5" so my little flashlight oven works pretty well. Also doesn't smell bad, some hint of chemical smell but you have to have your project real close to your face to be able to smell the faint chemical smell while wet.

I bought this to top my small resin charms and make them more durable. I bought a 36W UV lamp in hopes that it would cure my resin faster and so I wouldn't have to get (my lazy butt) up to cure it in the sun instead. But the 36W UV lamp did not fully cure the resin... and I don't know if it's the lamp or the resin itself because when I put my resin topped charms in the sun they hardened quite quickly. I had the resin charms under the lamp for hoouuurrrsss and I was still able to put a dent in it with my fingernail (I wasn't trying to dig it in there or anything). It also doesn't create little bubbles when I squeeze the resin out of the tube and if there are some bubbles I just push them off the edge with a toothpick. TL;DR It's a great, easy to use resin that adds some strength and shine to your pieces. Cure in the sunlight for best results!

I had to order this product twice. The first batch I got was completely gelled before I even got to use it. I had to send it back. Luckily the second batch I got was great. It cured very sturdy and crystal clear with my uv light in only a few minutes. I did have a few issues with it shrinking/curling once cured but I think that is a normal thing when you aren't using it in molds. I also noticed the resin remained a bit tacky after curing, but I glazed it with some gloss varnish and that fixed the issue. After using the resin for a week or two and getting the hang of it I am very happy with the product and will be using them in the future for my uv resin needs.

I don't know why people are having an issue, but I hope I can clarify some stuff. Your resin will have a harder time curing in certain temperatures and if the air is humid. It works best with DIRECT UV (get a flashlight or one of those nail curing systems), sunlight is not 100% direct. You will have overcast and the variables I mentioned before will make it harder for your resin to cure as quickly as you want it! Also, the sun is thousands of miles away so the "intensity" is not particularly too high for the resin to really "detect" it, if that makes sense. I personally use a "blacklight flashlight" that I bought on Amazon and it literally cured in seconds, so I could go fast with my crafting. For anyone who cares, I made a pokemon terrarium with my resin and it's perfectly stable thanks to the quick dry UV resin <3
