It's the last coat applied before you display your project or if you want to paint it. Also, you can add a little (and I mean very little) paint to it and mix it up if you want a colored base coat as well. Easy to apply with a brush. Clean up is a breeze. I got the Matte finish which is fine for my projects. I've used the Satin as well and that left a shiny-er than expected finish. The matte left it looking like it was after I painted it. Did the job I needed it to do.

This is the second bottle of mod podge. I didn't know how handy it was to have. This time I bought double the amount. I use it to seal pages for junk journaling. It seals and hold magazine pages and collages so well even the first coat is so thick. Cleans off easily and seems to be better than regular glue. Mod Podge manufacturers great items and this is one of them. This matte sealer looks a bit shiny when wet but, dries to a matte finish. The odor isn't bad and you can use it indoors without any issues. It can take some time for this product to cure so be gentle with it until you know for sure that the product is completely cured.
