Nourish your plants above and below the soil with Miracle-Gro Shake 'N Feed All Purpose Plant Food. This plant food contains natural ingredients to feed soil microbes that break down the natural ingredients into nutrients that support plant root strength and development which increases water efficiency. In addition, this garden product feeds plants for up to 3 months, and contains vital micronutrients for growth promotion and to grow stronger, vibrant, and more productive plants (vs unfed). Use this continuous release, all-purpose plant food indoor or outdoor for plant care. It may be used with most plants in ground or in containers. Apply this gardening product dry; do not pre-mix with water. When applying to in-ground plants, shake evenly onto the soil and work into the top 1-3 inches of soil. When using with container plants, mix into the soil at time of planting, or shake evenly onto the soil of established plants and lightly work in. For all plants, water to start feeding, and use the recommended rates provided on the label. For a beautiful garden all season long, reapply Miracle-Gro Shake 'N Feed All Purpose Plant Food every 3 months and water plants regularly.

I absolutely love this stuff! When I'm getting my planters ready for spring planting, I use this to amend the soil about a week before I start planting, mixing it in and then watering it, tilling it again and then letting it sit while I figure out what goes where. Once I have the plants in, I know that the roots are going to get a good feeding right off the bat. I also toss a layer of this over the flower beds in autumn so that once the melt occurs, the nutrients will get to the roots of the plants and feed the bulbs that I have put in all over the place to give a nice presentation. This does the work of extra tending in the garden without you having to do anything else. But, a word of caution, because this feeds the plants so well, if you get any weeds in the soil, be sure to pull them out, otherwise, they'll go nuts and overtake a flowerbed or planter in no time at all. ... show more
