Where to use: Apply our indoor potting mix to indoor potted plants, including common houseplants, tropicals, climbing plants, foliage plants, and flowering plants. How to apply: Select a pot with a drainage hole and fill about 1/3 full with potting mix. Loosen the plant’s root ball and place in the pot. Add more mix and press lightly. Water the plant; let it drain. After you plant: Mix should be allowed to dry to the touch between waterings. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted every year or as needed.

This is the best soil for all of your indoor plants. I add perlite, as you can add more for succulents. It also comes with some perlite mixed in. But it’s a good overall soil for all plants. Also has some fertilizer that last about 6 months. So a lot in combination for the price. Also I always spray my soil with neem oil just in case. But soil is natural and does come from outside. I got this mix to go along with a heavier soil to help with aeration and so that the soil won't dry out so fast. I lined it along the the side of the container so the roots will get the water they need and filled the rest with Happy Frog Potting soil. I have used this indoor potting soil to grow corn, peanuts, herbs and just pick a vegetable aside from carrots, and it works great, however as soon as i can usually after the 3rd node or set of leaves for any plant I use another product I get here on amaon...let me look... Safer Brand 3 in 1 spray, you can also use neem oil just ithe soil tends to have fruit flies. if you don't notice any then dont use but wait at least 3 months before using a spray or at 3rd node on given plant. That's just my experience over the past 5 years. Of course some soil was ordered from home depot and so this soil may be fine. I was just so highly impressed with the delivery time I thought I would share in order to help anyone else who would like to purchase this product. It's so well worth it that I am willing to spend additional money on products to combat a well talked about pest problem of gnats in most miracle grow soil. In my opinion though, if your soil does not attract insects, you're not doing it right. ... show more

Love me so miracle … Miracle-Gro that is (Teheheheh). I have tried and used many different brands of soil and always come back to using miracle-gro. It has great consistency in water absorbency. Other soil absorbency is horrible and leaving the plotted plant growing mosses & mold because the soil is muddy looking and water doesn’t drain properly as well. Miracles-gro doesn’t seem to have that problem and my plant thrives with it. It is worth the higher price . ... show more
