I'm not entirely sure if they have NFC, but other than that, they are almost identical to regular joy cons, and the Splatoon theme is just gorgeous. The media could not be loaded. The Joycons arrived in perfect condition, paired instantly once attached, and fit the original handheld controller perfectly. They look superb, and my son is obsessed with them, offering great value for money.
