  • 1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t work- want a refund- they want to send replacement - can’t see how to contact them.
Update - contacted Amazon- they are getting the refund for me…. Camcorder worked great for about 15min- night vision was great- then it wouldn’t turn on - charge battery still wouldn’t work. There are so many reviews- all over the place .seemed like I kept seeing the same reviews on different camcorders- I wanted a refund- they say a replacement is coming- do not see an option to contact seller or cancel what they are sending- why would I want another??? It will be the same 😡 ... show more

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage.
Pros: Comes with an SD card and is ready out of the box. Instructions are in English and are easy to understand. Actually does have decent IR night vision and a reasonably bright IR light. The little touch screen works pretty well too. Cons: Does not record video in HD of any kind. Not 4k. Not 2k. Not even 1080p. Literally does not record in anything higher than 480p. Thoughts: I received my unit as a gift from my employer. (which is why it won't say verified purchase for my review) And I have to say, I've never been disappointed in a gift before. The camera is advertised as a 4k camera. And it absolutely WILL encode the video in whatever resolution you choose. (480, 720, 1080, 2k, and 3k? Claiming to be 4k) But each video will be the 480p video, just encoded to whatever you asked for. It will look like hot garbage and you will be asking yourself why you spent money on it. The two pictures are screen grabs of videos. The first one is the camera set to 1080p 30 fps. The second one is my old Samsung S9 phone set to 1080p 30 fps. I was holding both perfectly still and gave them time to focus. I tried bright light, low light, still subjects, moving subjects... I tried changing the settings in the menus, I even went to the manufacturers website hoping to find a firmware update or some information about what I was doing wrong. All to no avail. I give this camera a 1 star because Amazon says I can't give it 0. I cannot recommend this camera to anyone for any reason. There are better cameras for less. Your phone is better than this. ... show more

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars Not a Minolta
Look into the details of this company. They've somehow gotten a hold of the rights to the Minolta name. It's second rate chinese junk. Minolta merged with Sony years ago. Minolta is Sony. This is a brand ripoff.
