Received as ordered ahead of scheduled time. Good quality and matches my older power drive Minn Kota Power Drive base plate bolt holes exactly. This is an original manufactured part. Instructions are included as well mounting hardware. NOTE: Instructions suggest using anti-seize compound on stainless steel bolts, (included), during assembly. This is just an incredibly convenient piece of hardware! It's well made, thick, looks like anodized aluminum with a powder coated black shell. You can actually slide it in both directions if you take the stopper screw out. I'd definitely buy it again! Warming though, minnkota includes a thumb screw with a bladed wing, and it does not clear the base of the bow. It's 1/4-20 threading, so I just put a different, hex head, bolt in there. Silly oversight though, it could have just been one of those round knurled ones! One more thing, no stainless steel hardware, come on! I added my own. ... show more

This is easy to mount and works real good i needed to be able to slide my trolling motor back so it didn't get caught on the roller when unloading the boat and it does that great.

Heavy Duty and well made. It also has an opening for installing a padlock. The reason for the title is that if you ever have to remove the motor for service or warranty support it would be a pain to uninstall by removing the bolts that go through the deck. Possible but a real PIA because the access is or maybe tight as in my case. It would also make removal for winter storage inside if your boat will be outside in cold temps. I was going to knock off a couple of stars because the mounting hardware shipped with unit is not stainless. They are bright coated and will eventually rust. What’s up with that Minn Kota? The motor shipped with stainless steel hardware. Get some stainless steel bolts for the installation. ... show more
