I just wasn’t feeling up to decorating this year (we are empty nesters and neither of our kids were able to come home but I still wanted a little something.) The tree is small and cute and came with a couple of small ornaments. The ornaments weren’t anything special but they were fine. The only complaint I had was the lights were battery operated which I suppose isn’t surprising since it’s so small but I would’ve preferred to have the option to plug it in. It's fine for an accent decoration which is why I bought it. Since it didn't cost much, I didn't expect a much, but it looks good on my kitchen countertop. Someone complained that the "Merry Christmas" decoration says "Merry Chriamas," but it doesn't. Because the letter "s" in both places is done in cursive, the first one does look a lot like an "a" because of the way it was joined to the "t". If it were not written in cursive, it would have been more readable for the younger generation who don't seem to read cursive very well. ... show more

    • I’d recommend something else if looking for kids
It’s cute once put together. I bought two for my kids rooms. I will say it’s very cheap and flimsy. The ornaments were falling apart before we could even put them on the tree- particularly the little drums and gifts. I had to spend time rewrapping, tying and supergluing before it was useable. The quality definitely can’t withstand kid use. Maybe a cheap little office decoration or something for an adult would be okay for the money. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I don’t get the negative comments. What did you guys think you were getting? It’s the size that was posted. Very much the same as big do it yourself Christmas trees. You open the box, you arrange the branches, you put decorations on it. I’m using them on each side of our drummers kit for a Christmas gig, then on a couple small tables in our house. ... show more

The tree looks like it’s missing 1 or 2 layers at the bottom. It’s the perfect height for your office but about 1/2 of it is the “tree trunk” stand. Lots of decorations and the lights are cute. I’ll still use it next year with some bigger presents and a tree skirt

    • You get what you pay for
The bows and some ornaments are hard to put on. If you are going to show the tree from all directions, the lights are not enough. For what you pay for it, it is okay. I bought a tree apron from the $1 store and that helped.
