I purchased this greenhouse in 2021. Shipping was good. Product arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was well packaged. I used it to overwinter my outdoor potted plants. It remained under my carport throughout the winter months. It worked great in this setting, since it was shielded for strong winds. The assembly is not difficult, but not easy. I have to admit the first time it was a bit confusing. The instructions are not clear. It helped me to sort the connectors and rods into individual stacks by size and letter. Be careful to locate the letter on the connectors and keep them grouped together. Using one connector in the wrong location can throw the entire frame off. Ask me how I know. Overall sturdiness of the parts is pretty good. This is a PORTABLE greenhouse. It worked great under shelter of my carport. Using it in an open space will require some serous anchoring. The ground staples and string that comes with it are not sufficient. Also the I suggest using stronger zip ties to secure the shelves. I found this out the hard way. I attempted to use this greenhouse again in the spring of this year for seed starting. I have relocated and no longer have a covered carport. I did what I knew was not the best, but figured it was sufficient anchoring. Unfortunately it did not hold up to a windy day. I think it may have been more of the fact I did not zip the door closed and/or maybe the top rods were not securely attached. I also had not secured the shelves. It appeared the wind was able to get inside with through the door open. The bottom section remained in place, but the top rod was loose. I am not giving up! This thing is pretty durable and great for a tight budget gardener like myself. I have plans to assemble this greenhouse again for the winter. This time I am preparing to securely anchor it and monitor it closely each day. Thanks for providing a decent quality product at an affordable price! I consider this product a good value for the money. It is my first attempt at a backyard seedling starter greenhouse and I think it is suitable for a beginner that’s jumping in on a budget. That being said, I have several comments about this product that anyone who is considering it should know. Firstly, the instructions consist of a parts list and a poor diagram. It didn’t go smoothly the first time. As someone who takes pride in problem solving, I was challenged, and only succeeded after getting some keen suggestions from my wife. God bless her for that! Frustration was mounting. Secondly, I had the wisdom to buy one dozen wire “U” tent pegs to help secure it to the ground and two squeeze clamps to secure it to my fence. Only then was I completely comfortable with the stability against winds. Thirdly, I went out after 9:30 one morning in March to find my seedlings cooked in the heat. I had to start again. The greenhouse has no other ventilation other than the door. No windows. Monitoring the weather is essential. The little ribbons provided for tying up the rolled up door are too short. I am using another squeeze clamp. Care must be taken when using the zippers. The stitching is weak. Nonetheless I have learned to work with the product and found an additional outdoor wire plant shelf that fits against the back wall of the house providing even more stability and shelf space. The shelves provided need serious planters to keep your seedings safe from falling in high wind, I recommend using the lower shelves for the light plastic starter seed kits, or even placing them on the ground. All in all, I am satisfied with getting my feet wet, so to speak, for such a low cost. However, if you’re convinced that you are into your gardening for the long haul , including winter growing, I would recommend a larger unit with more features, like zipped windows or a roof vent. This unit has rip stop plastic with a nice green color reducing the bright sun inside and since plants don’t utilize green, I found the feature enjoyable. First, the good: very easy to put together and has plenty of space for small plants Cons: this is not made for tall or heavy plants/pots. I have a decent sized aloe and a spike plant on the top shelf bc they're too tall for the lower shelves. I also have a small jade plant, small orchid, and a medium sized misc succulent. This thing is LEANING hard, esp with the plant lights attached . Buying a metal shelving unit instead since I have no faith in this standing very long, even now it makes me so nervous So if you have smaller potted plants, go for it. If you have medium to large plants, look elsewhere because this is not sturdy at all. ... show more
