I am a sucker for usb-c anything (and LED anything), so this seemed perfect. In practice the two tiny surface-mount LEDs are not very bright, though they do produce a nice range of colors. The switch to toggle through modes is incredibly tiny, it requires digging with a fingernail. Works great, no issues, I use it with a 3 port usb plug. One note, this is a directional light, so it may point up or down depending on the usb, unless you use a multi-usb plug that you can rotate. Does not flicker and works great, especially the adjustable brightness

Who ever said these are not bright need to have glasses. These are super bright they light up my back seat area pretty good and I use red color which is the weakest of all color. The auto on and off work excellent as long there is enough light to cense the photo eye sensor,it will take 10 seconds to turn off when light is penetrating. Changing the setting can be a bit difficult but you figure it out. ... show more

UPDATE: Upon seeing my feedback the company reached out to me and wanted to make it right. They sent me a replacement speedily. Am very satisfied with their customer service, and would buy from them again because of this. I thought that this was a good USB-C. Unfortunately it broke soon afterwards. This product is a very neat idea, and I like it. The LED's are not that bright, dimmer than the flash/flashlight feature, but they are bright enough. The one button control is usable. My biggest complaint is that the casing around the port is to large to fit fully into mine or any other cell phone I have tried if it has a case on it. It works fine if there is no case, but I always have a case on mine, so this is mostly useless to me. There should be no reason this product could not be smaller, like the size an actual charging cord, which does fit with my case installed. I hope that this USB-C type of thing expands to give us more options and tool in the future .. this one... ehh... try again. ... show more

I bought this to use in the bathroom as a night light. My vanity has 4 usb outlets so I purchased this to try it out since our bathroom is pitch dark at night. It lights the way and I no longer need to hang on to the walls. It is plenty bright. I even turned it down a bit.
