This little board is one of the most delightful items I've gotten recently. Having lived in Japan, it immediately reminded me of the traditional calligraphy kits our children used in school to practice their kanji. This is like a modern, mess-free version of that experience, and I found myself instinctively using it to practice characters—it's an absolute joy. This product arrives in a nice little box that would be great to give as a gift. It includes the slate-like drawing board, a small bamboo brush, and a simple stand. Everything included in the box seems to be well made and I use it all the time without having to worry that I am breaking it. It is so simple, you just dip the brush in a bit of water, and your strokes appear in a deep, satisfying black. For a long time I had my grandson convinced that I was magic as he watched each creation slowly fade away as the water dried. A cool little art set for kids. No paint mess, just water. It’s a great way to let them explore creativity without cleanup. The included brush and stand work well, and the water-based drawings fade naturally, making it a fun and calming pastime. The instructions were for a different model, which was a bit confusing at first, but the board itself is intuitive. Very compact and easy to store. A nice gift or travel-friendly activity.

This is a really interesting water drawing board. It folds close and then opens up to form its own easel. This water board is good for any age. It comes with its own brush. It does not come with a stand or water tray that is shown in the description. I spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to get it like the photo in the description shown, and then I realized this is not that product. This is a smaller version, an actual mini board. It’s a really nice item, but it is not what is shown which is why I deducted one star. Other than that, it does what it says it does. You just brush with water and create your own design. The more water, the darker the color. After a while, the drawing fades away It’s really a neat little item and it’s easy to travel with and pack up.

I really like this little painting board. I can just doodle, or do one certain thing and whatever I do is going to be gone in just a few minutes anyway so I can do something else. It passes the time when you're sitting there waiting to meet somebody or for a plane or a bus or time to go home from work. Now I want the bigger one too! Definitely recommend if you like to draw. And I'm an adult just imagine how much fun it would be for kids.

This is SO cool! I didn't realize how cool this would be not just for my kids (2, 6, 11) but also for me. The texture of the board kind of reminds me of a chalkboard, and the brush is very pointy so when you add a little water to the tray, you essentially have a board to make calligraphy, art, practice letters or numbers. My kids LOVE how compact it is and simple to use. I love the water which means less mess! If you lose the brush, just get a new one or use your finger, LoL! I'm thinking to buy more so I can bring them in the car, to restaurants, etc. I might even buy one and bring it to work to use while I'm waiting for my computer to update, etc.

The board comes with a small brush and folds open to stand. Installation/setup: Use with water to create drawings or paintings that disappear when dry. Final thoughts: I have wanted one of these for a long time. I first saw one many years ago in an art supply store. This is a small one, but it works the same as the larger ones and can be transported easily. I like this and I’m glad I got it. It works well for practice, letting you use any shape and size of brush and test your techniques without wasting paper and paint. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

This mini samadhi board has been so much fun. Mine arrived looking slightly different than the pictures. The style I received flips out from the back with the board attached so then it is sitting up on itself instead of a separate piece that you set on slats. It actually makes it much easier to store and travel with. It also has the little holder place for the included brush. It works just the same though where you use a little bit of water to wet the brush then use it to draw on the board. Then over time the board dries and you can do it again. It creates a lovely rich deep color on it like caligraphy which really helps practice. Overall a wonderful more compact version of a samadhi board that has been great for storage and travel.
