I use this saw when making small size picture frames (maximum 47 x 47 cm). I use it to split slats up to 50 cm long and up to 2 cm thick. Be sure to use Microjig Grr-Ripper. And it's important to fasten the saw to the table firmly.

Great little saw ! Quite no vibration. Virtually dust free when hooked to a vacuum. Only downside I can see is it’s hard to find good quality blades for it.

    • Mine did not work
I bought this mini table saw via Amazon. After assembling the whole thing, I turned it on. After about 30 seconds, the power cut off. Since then, it's dead. I contacted Amazon, and they couldn't find the company contact information. It was after 30-day return period, so I Amazon can't accept returning this item. Please someone help me! ... show more

    • This makes cutting easy
My wife decided she wanted to build a 1:12 scale doll house log cabin. Cutting the logs at the proper angle was tricky at best. I tried using a mini chop saw that I had to convert 5.56mm brass to 300 Blackout but, it only went to 45 degrees and, it was so weak it bogged down just cutting through 1/4" log halves. So, I ordered this and now, cutting is a breeze. Even the 52 degree cuts to match the roof pitch was smooth and easy. The best part is, no more bogging down. If you're building models, bird houses, or doll houses, this will make all the difference in the world. I wasn't really interested in being part of the build but, it's actually fun since I got this. If you're thinking about a mini table saw for small projects, stop thinking and get one of these. You won't be sorry. ... show more
