Overall, this is a great mini greenhouse; but I have to begin by pointing out a couple of dumb mistakes. First, as you can see from the instructions, they say to place it on the "Metal 'Raised Garden Bed and secure it." There is no raised metal bed in this box. Or described on the Amazon page. Secondly, they include ties to attach it to the inner support pole, but as you can see only one of the ties is inside. The other is outside. How does any of this happen? I have no explanation. Fortunately, neither of these things are important. It works just fine on any flat surface, and I simply tied the lone inner strap by itself. Not as convenient, but doable; and it works so well I kept this review at 5 stars. So now, on to the Main Event. As I write this in mid-March this arrived at the perfect time, and is exactly what I expected. I won't bother to describe it, but will tell you that everything in the Amazon information text is accurate. It went together easily and I had no need of the instructions. It's pretty intuitive. I was amazed at how light it was, and very easy for anyone to carry and place. As you can see from the photos, I put it on a plastic picnic table I use in the summer. The footprint was a little too large to fit on it, but I placed a piece of plywood I had hanging around on the table and covered it with some leftover black plastic. I could have just as easily placed it on the ground but this just makes it really easy to work on plants and move them in and out. I quickly learned the downside of how light it is when a stiff breeze blew through my yard and swept the greenhouse away like a kite where it landed several feet from the table. You'll notice the bricks holding it down on the inside. That won't happen again. The front zippered flap works fine, allowing me to open it and place or arrange my plants inside. It's been cloudy all day and 45 degrees but was 57 inside the greenhouse. The sun came out a bit ago, and right now it's 53 outside, but in the greenhouse it's 70. Clearly, as it gets warmer, I'll need to open the flap during the day so I don't have roasted plants. It is a perfect size for my needs; large enough to hold lots of 4 inch starter pots and several potted plants. I can see the possibility of moving it to a small portion of my garden as some flowers get going and using it as a "portable mini-cloche". I loved this until one of the zippers broke within a month of purchase. I would have returned it but no longer had the boxes. The concept is good...the zippers just need to be a little better quality.

    • Perfect for our raised garden beds

This arrived promptly, was easy enough to assemble and arrived true to size. It went overtop of our raised garden bed on our deck quite nicely. It seems sturdy enough and we added some velcro to the bottoms of the edges so we could velcro it to the underside of the beds. This worked quite well for us. I'd also recommend getting some rope and putting some small holes in your garden bed to attach the assembly to the garden bed itself - this will help with it from blowing around so much. Great addition for us and it opens up more options for our spring and fall growing crops. A nice size greenhouse that can be used in the garden or on the deck to prevent tender plants from late spring frost. The frame has a lot of pieces to assemble but it was easy. I am not sure how easy it will be to disassemble for storage. Plastic cover fits over the top. Looking forward to using it soon. ... show more

The set up of the metal poles was super easy to follow. Also-- if you need to only have a 4 feet vs 8 feet green house-- it is do-able! Which I did- until my area was ready-- then the set up of the 8 foot took no time at all to get set up. I have the green house set up on my cement patio-- it is stable. The issues are the tarp that fits over the poles. The directions indicate tie the tarp down to the poles-- however-- you cannot tie it-- one part of the tie is on the inside and the other part is outside the tarp-- The other issue-- is that no matter how I tried to arrange the tarp-- where the tarp comes together to seal it-- it will not stay in place-- so there are gaps in the tarp-- so the warm air escapes during the night-- so I had to seal it with some tape-- to keep the warm air in. Especially as the evening air-- gets down to 40 here in PA-- and up near 55-60 during the day-- It will not be a big deal during the warmer part of spring- summer-- but right now-- I have to watch to make sure it stays closed. Overall-- it works well-- we do not have it over a raised garden bed-- but plants on the patio. It would cover a raised garden -- as long as the garden is on the ground-- we have some raised beds that are on legs-- and that would not work. We needed to make adjustments-- and overall a nice product. ... show more

    • Great value mini greenhouse!

This is a great little kit. My wife wanted a little starter greenhouse for starting all her vegetable plants, so that they were closer than the regular greenhouse over in the garden. Yes, we have a regular greenhouse but this is much handier to set up closer to the house for when it is early Spring and you don't need the full height of the greenhouse. So this is temporarily set up close to the house and is much more convenient for potting and watering. We will take this down once the plants are large enough for the regular greenhouse, but of course this may be all you need and you could send it up permanently. It is extremely easy and fast to set up and take down and seems very decent quality. The cover fits perfectly. Of course, it will need holding down with some decent weights or rocks, etc. but that's very easy. It isn't too high to really catch the wind, either. This is a really handy setup for those with green fingers and who wish to grow their own food in these uncertain times. ... show more
