I bought this drone and after about 2 uses the drones third propeller completely stopped! Now I can’t even fly it! DO NOT BUY

By no means is this a good camera drone, but it has good speed and works for it's price. This is a toy drone and works as that.

I wanted to get a beginners drone for my son, but i didn't want to spend a lot of money because I was certain that it wouldn't last since it would be the very first time my 7 year old would be handling a drone. This set comes with a nice canvas bag with molded foam which serves well for carrying and for protection against damages. It also comes with an extra pair of propellers along with four protective guards for the propellers. It also comes with a spare 3.7v battery which needs to be charged with the proprietary charger that comes included in the purchase. The battery does not show charging status even though it is equipped with an LED bulb which becomes active in-flight. The status is shown on the charger instead so it is imperative that the user uses this cable for charging the batteries. In that vein, it would've been nice if it could charge two batteries at once. You can download an app and connect your phone to the WIFI network broadcasted by the drone which allows video transmission in HD. Video resolution is not bad but it doesn't seem to have good lighting control at least indoors where I tested the feed. You can also control the drone through the touchscreen through the app but I just don't think it's possible to control it to the extent that a dedicated controller could in my opinion. Try it out but do it in a wide open space to allow yourself the maximum amount of forgiveness in case of failure. The drone itself is pretty durable given the price. I must've crashed it at least a dozen times by now but there's not one scratch on it. That said, all testing was conducted indoors so my or anyone's mileage for that matter can vary with more variables as it'd be the case when outdoors. The drone is fairly quick even at the lowest speed but it seems to be vulnerable to radio interference at times. I've already had few instances too many where the drone just took off on its own and crashed into something when all I did was to lift it off the ground to get started. Onto controls---- The left bumper button cycles between propeller speed from low to high. The right bumper is for performing 360 flips. The left analog stick controls altitude and also turns the direction in which the drone is facing. The right analog stick tilts the drone in the direction in which the analog is pressed. this in turn moves the drone in their respective directions. Onto fine tuning and modes--- The directional buttons offers "counter-drift" adjustments while the drone is hovering, if any. The "Compass" button offers headless control which moves the drone from the perspective of the user, not the direction in which the drone is facing. This is especially useful for beginners who may not be able to discern the direction in which the drone is facing at all times. The "auto-takeoff" mode does just that but the drone first needs to be turned on and propellers spinning already for this to work. The button with the warning sign icon immediately turns off the drone as an "emergency stop" in case it's running into an obstacle. This button needs to be long pressed to avoid any mishaps from accidental presses. The camera button takes pictures but you'd need to be broadcasting to your smartphone already for this to work. Now for the cons: the drone tends to drift to one side rather than to hover and stay still even when no input is given. You can apply counter-drift this drift by again, pressing the directional button against the direction of the drift. But it doesn't appear that you can save this in memory so I needed to repeat the adjustment process when "booting up" the drone. Furthermore, the drone is very lightweight and thus very susceptible to wind so please bear that in mind before taking the drone out for a flight outdoors. I don't think this drone floats so do not fly over a body of water. Lastly, the controller has a built-in holder for smartphones but it's neither wide nor sturdy so I couldn't get my S10+ to fit with the case on. It held my phone just barely with the case off so I do have reservations on using this outdoors where I'd have to operate this with my phone without its usual protections. All in all, it's not a perfect drone by any means as noted in the previous paragraph. Well, unless you measure the performance to cost ratio of this drone. You essentially get a "high-tier" drone (in the budget category) along with spare parts, batteries, and a nice protective carrying case for under $30 at the time of writing! This is quite a steal in my opinion and well deserving of the 5 stars that I gave in my opinion. I'd recommend it highly as a gift and to beginners alike.

It was fun while it lasted. But if you're looking into buying one of these and you don't know how to repair them, put your money into a nicer unit. Camera quality isn't great either. You get what you pay for
