The media could not be loaded. First time drone pilot and this thing is fun. Directions are clear and setup is easy. Connection to app and iPhone was quick and simple. Drone itself is small and very lightweight it’s about the size of a new TV remote. Picture quality is clear but a bit shaky due to weight and pilot control. Controls are responsive and as a rookie will take time to understand to have a smooth flight and video. Easy takeoff with one button liftoff/set down, works great for a slow controlled descent allowing adjustments to hit your landing pad. I would definitely recommend using in a large open space for first flights if you’re a rookie pilot as you get used to the controls. I didn’t do this and during its maiden voyage the done took off easily as expected and smoothly ascended to a height where unseen winds began drifting the flying drone. Pilot panic and error ensued and as if it were a magnet of great size and strength the drone entered the airspace of the Pine and robbed the drone from its maiden flight. Good news is the propeller guards worked flawlessly and after a brief recover effort the drone was back flying again. This S17 will provide some good future entertainment.

This drone is easy to operate, with great video quality. It’s surprisingly stable and provides a clear picture. The two batteries mean that my kids can enjoy longer playing time with it. So far we’ve only tried it at a park with a big open area, but once they are more comfortable using it and controlling it, I think they’ll have lots of fun using it in more places and situations. It was a great price for a really cool gift!
