    • Works well with some caveats
A few quick points about this product: 1. It works as intended and definitely draws a little one to it. 2. There's two settings: (1) lights, sounds and counting with a 60-second countdown, and (2) just counting. I'd like to have more options, like an always on that only lights up with a basket. The instructions do say you can loosen or remove the scorekeeper screw to mute it, but I haven't tried that yet. 3. Volume is pretty high with no way to adjust it without taping the speaker, which is still a viable workaround. 4. It clips on a door frame, but that's a little high for a toddler, so it would be nice if it included indoor wall mounts. It will fit on toddler gates, though, although it'll be loose but still usable. 5. It includes two balls. ... show more

This hoop is super cool looking and easy to put together. It seems fairly sturdy and durable, but only time will tell. I wanted something different that stands out and this was it. I would recommend purchasing this if you're wanting the same.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve seen several of these and this one stands out quite a bit. The LED lights are separately connected and seem to be more dynamic. It reacts to your game. The goal design is detailed and looks great with the lighting. However, I did have a problem with the sound. It was really quiet and could barely be heard until I moved the goal around and it was almost as if the PC like speaker inside the electronic box was loose. I turned it one way it was loud, or back to its vertical position, and it was quiet. after tinkering with it, I discovered that the screws holding the goal to the backboard were too tight. After loosening the nuts a little, the speaker volume was loud and clear. So something is not designed right. The hoop should be tight, but I can’t be too tight or else the speaker won’t work. I also need to say that the instructions for assembly were horrible. Luckily I figured it out but I think it will be frustrating for some. ... show more

I have a grandson who is obsessed with basketball. I never see him without a basketball in his hand except when the weather doesn't allow him to be outside shooting baskets. So, l when I saw this indoor hoop, I knew I had to get it for him. My HOA won't allow outdoor basketball hoops so I needed to find an indoor hoop for him when he comes to visit. This hoop is perfect! There are lots of features, such as lighting, crowd applause, and electronic scoring, that make the experience of shooting baskets more exciting for him. I was able to put this together within 15 minutes using simple tools and it hangs over my door without causing damage. The hoop will spring downward if too much pressure is applied to the rim, a good feature to have if you have a child who wants to try to dunk the ball. The hoop comes with two, inflatable balls as well as the pump and needle. It's proving to be a great product that's already given my grandson a ton of enjoyment. ... show more

Please keep in mind that through experience and this item especially, you must follow the directions and snap pieces together. I had to restart this basketball rim because I thought I could assemble it just by looking. THIS IS A VERY STURDY AND GREAT PRODUCT, every piece is strategically built in a certain way in order to provide the best installation possible. Very entertaining where at the end of the build the adults were playing and enjoying it more than the children. It's a great way to spend time with children outside of watching TV or tablet. The score and time keep it interesting yet highly competitive. Easy to put up and take down which is essential if you do not have clearance at your door. The rim is not worth hanging out but sturdy enough for a little more forceful play. Get your jump shot ready! I ordered one for the office. ... show more

One of the best mini basketball hoops I've ever owned! Solid build with a thick steel rim + lighting and sound effects. Quick installation (10 minutes) and off to hooping I go! Comes with 2 above average quality basketballs that are easy to shoot. Really like how it comes with alot of additional cushioning to minimize any scratches or dings on your door. You can play it in "silent" mode where it just counts how many points you make (2 pts per basket) or turn it "on" for lighting and sound effects along with a 60 second timer. Requires (3) AAA batteries (not included). I recommend this indoor basketball set if you want a high quality hoop that's fun for everyone at home or in the office ... show more

I bought this as a birthday gift for a 9 year old and it was a huge hit. I found it fun also as an adult. As far as putting it together - it was somewhat confusing and an adult is definitely needed to help out. The instructions weren't super clear but I figured it out. I think the led lights around the backboard is so cool and adds a really fun vibe. It comes with two extra basketballs and a pump to fill them up with air - which was greatly appreciated.
