they are not tangle resistant however, they have lasted for several years, I believe going on four years. the lights are not bright and add a cute aesthetic to the room providing comfort and stability within the room. keep in mind there are flashing portion if you use that option on the remote. but there are slow flashing or a great transition one that I use when my epileptic niece comes to visit.

I purchased these lights as a surprise to decorate my granddaughter‘s room. When she came over and saw how beautiful and colorful her room was, she was so excited. Tangles relatively easy so depending on how you’re installing it, it can be a bit difficult to set up. Otherwise, this lights are magically beautiful ✨ Because they come with a bunch of different modes and is plugged directly to the wall for constant power as opposed to using a battery, these lights makes for a dreamy nightlight alternative. Really completes my room and gives it a cute aesthetic! I would definitely recommend these lights, especially for those looking for a creative way to light up their space.

UPDATE: eLightBulb reached out and sent a replacement set at no cost. They were friendly and easy to work with. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for lights they intend on keeping stationary or at least not doing a lot of hanging up/taking down. Mine going out also could have been a fluke. Either way, pleased they made it right and happy with my new set. These are great, as long as you don’t ever want to take them down or move them. I had these strung across the ceiling of my classroom - worked great; no issues at all; stayed bright and did everything they were supposed to do. I took them down to move to another classroom (and I took care not to bang the bulbs or be rough on the wires), and as I was unwinding them to string back up, the just quit working. The base still has power and is responding to the remote, but the whole strand of lights is just dead. I got one year of use out of them. Disappointing since I barely touched them.

These lights are amazing! I’m a teacher, and finally jumped on the “string of lights at the front of the room” trend. What was I waiting for? I thought they would be awkward and difficult. (Flashbacks to the tangled Christmas tree lights that kept blinking off. Ha! Ha!) But, no! These lights have a remote that’s so easy to operate. They came packaged well, and were really easy to hang all the way across the front of my classroom. I used small clear Command hooks, From start to finish it only took about 15 minutes to get the entire string of lights hung up. Buy them you won’t regret it!

These lights are not bad at all, but the size of them is extremely deceptive as they are the size of a mothball, and we expected the large Edison style looking string lights. We expected, based off the photos, for them to be the size of a smaller baseball or similar, and they were very tiny in comparison. Other than the size, they look great, pretty easy to lay out and keep untangled during installation, and an easy DIY project that improved the look of our balcony after. They are made of a nice quality weatherproof plastic, and have been plugged in since installed to a 120V outside wall outlet with no issues on the battery life, since they are plugged in which is very nice. No issues with tangle resistance after laying them out in a straight line prior to installing them. Overall, I wish they’d send us another set of the 66 foot lighting, since the size didn’t provide the amount of light we are looking to provide on our balcony.
