UPDATE: Altho the first 50' black cord I bought was disappointing (see review below) the next 2 have been very good. I've used both of the new ones -- they coil well, and hang flat from hooks along the wall. Very pleased. Initial review: The first one of these heavy black extension cords that I bought was disappointing -- it kinked and curled badly. I laid it in the sun on the grass to soften it up, and then coiled it carefully, but it still kinked. I could feel that the inner wires were all running haywire inside the heavy plastic coating. There's no way it would ever coil smoothly, so I gave #1 away. It worked well enough, but I don't tolerate "fouled lines." I bought another exactly the same, and #2 is great. Softened up nicely in the warm sun, and it coils smoothly. It hangs flat against the wall, and is easy to uncoil and coil again neatly. I've bought a 3rd one as a spare, but haven't opened it yet. I'd better lay it out while the sun is still warm, and hang it in a neat coil. I'll update this review if it kinks and twists. ... show more

I bought this only for my Ninja outdoor grill. So far it has done the job! It is very durable, I like the light up option on the plug, but I always hate the price for an extension cord, but this was not terrible.
