I initially gave a great review on customer service. Don't know how to revise that. Initially I was missing the small round plastic piece that goes in the end of the rail on the top. I thought they went beyond by sending a whole second shelf, even though all I needed was the plastic piece. That was until they let me know I am to take the small plastic piece out, then take the new one back to UPS to send back. SERIOUSLY?! A piece is missing. I am supposed to open the box, take the little piece out, reseal it, and then drive the four miles to the nearest UPS store to send it back? Wow. Just wow. ... show more

Just received, very disappointed. Live in Manhattan, limited space. I searched through the coat/shoe racks to find one that fits in our limited space. THIS IS NOT 24.19 INCHES WIDE- shoe rack itself over 25, if attach the ends about 26.5 INCHES WIDE. Cannot open front door properly with added 2.3 inches. (Depth as well inaccurate closer to 13 inches, maybe more..) Luckily measured before putting together. Now I need to get this giant box to the UPS store to return-- not an easy feat at 32 weeks pregnant. Amazon-- correct this seller's false advertising / information. ... show more

Super cute and perfect for what I needed. I did struggle at first with the assembly. The foot pieces did not go in easily, I had to put alot of weight onto it to get them to go. Bonus, the frame did not bend when I did that (thus sturdy). Little kids could probably pull it over but it is very lightweight so they wouldn't get hurt too bad if they did. The 4 small screws were tough to start. my husband took the Allen wrench and put it in a cordless drill which made putting the screws in way easier! I feel like it was worth the money because it worked perfectly for what I needed. ... show more

Received yesterday. Opened today. Read instructions which said to there were 18 bolts included among other pieces. Counted the bolts. 18 good. Began to put together. Fairly easy. No problem. Got to the last 2 screws or bolts that needed to be inserted. Picked one up. It would not fit in the hole. Compared it to the last screw. It is much thicker than the last screw so I was unable to finish putting the rack together. The rack is why I bought it. But I don't feel comfortable hanging a jacket or sweater on the hooks because of the missing screw. ... show more

Great way to organize the entry way, especially since I live in a small apartment with a toddler- I needed a way to keep things by the door and off the floor and this has proven helpful! It’s a LITTLE wobbly as it stand but so far no one has tried to lean on it or pull it so I’m happy with it!

I love this rack- for the price, it seems to be exactly what I wanted. I can easily hang 2 adult jackets + one backpack + my purse on the hooks and its still sturdy! Assembly was easy EXCEPT there were two issues: 1. One rod’s threads were in crooked so we had to rig a way to screw the connecting screw in. It had to be the first ones put together (found this out the hard way) or else the entire stand would have been garbage as it wouldn’t screw in unless purposely done so crooked. 2. One of the plastic pieces that fits into the end of the metal rod on the very top was missing. It’s a little hazardous because it’s eye level and sharp. The rod is also bent together as if it was squished. It affects the way it looks, but doesn’t seem to affect anything else. Wasn’t worth unassembling it to return it. ... show more

i was pleasantly surprised by nice this is and how simple to put together. it looks good in my entry hall. a few suggestions though, the screws are silver, the unit is black . i would have preferred that the screws blend in. the hex wrench. i used a ratcheting screw driver with the appropriate bit. hex wrenches are uncomfortable and make it difficult to tighten the screws enough. consider putting in a safety strap. there isnt a lot of weight to the unit. better safe than sorry. and then there is the packaging. it came in two boxes, one massive outer box with yards of packaging paper, the inner box which held the parts had styrofoam to keep the parts from shifting which isnt a bad thing. its the kind that breaks down to little beads when you handle it. we are talking foam beads all over. use a higher density foam and a sturdier box and eliminate the wasteful outer box and the mess those staticky beads everywhere. i would recommend this coat rack. now that its up, i am very happy with it. ... show more
