The tool has been good but it I believe cooked my 5ah battery from uses the impact for long periods of time like removing lug nuts and suspension bolts doing about 15 car a day with this thing. No one else at my at my shop has had that issue so I can say the impact was the problem or just the battery. But as a tool its self its pretty good. ... show more

This is the impact I have been looking for. I have it's big brother in the m18 series, but that one is sometimes too large for under vehicles. While the m18 is a torque beast, it simply can't get into small spaces . This stubby impact has an angled head and small diameter for just such situations. It has 550 ft pounds of torque which is impressive for it's size. It's lightweight and nimble. I had to buy the m12 charger/battery system but didn't mind. Now I have an excuse to buy the extended ratchet I always wanted. The 12 volt does not lack in power. It may not have the runtime of my m18, but its plenty. It actually removed the lugs on my pickup wheels effortlessly. The trade off is worth it. I like the speed change feature of being able to change speed/ power with one hand. Very ingenious. There's a legend on top of the gun that shows you how to do it. My new go to impact now. ... show more

Really the name says it all, it's Milwaukee. This tool has amazing torque and speed for being M12. I was going to buy the M18 Fuel version, but my son is a diesel mechanic and he told me to get the M12 version because it is just as good but in a smaller package to get into tighter spaces.
