Milwaukee power quality and durability is where it’s at. I love the compactness and the Power that this 2854-20 has, it is light weight and comfortable to use even if you are using it for extended periods, it is a great choice for those 3/8 drive sized jobs. I have only used it once to add some and replace some fasteners to my semi trailer hopper doors this little impact gun made my job on a sub zero degree day totally different from what it could have been, it just does the job, no i know that it can take some lug nuts off most cars and light duty trucks but I will never use this tool for anything other then what it is built for 3/8 drive has no place in taking off tires because that is what we have the new 1/2 drive high torque Milwaukee for. Works better than the omala 1/2 impact that’s supposed to have 400ft lbs nut breaking power and this has only 250ft lbs breaking power. My omala doesn’t take off 100ft lbs

Really nice Impact for when you need something compact. That said, it lacks power. I got this primarily to help do my brake caliper bolts, and with a universal socket (which reduces its torque output), it was not able to remove some of them (the bolts were rusted + torqued to over 90 ft/lbs). Luckily, my 2967 was able to remove the rest without issue. I recommend this as a secondary impact for specific tight situations, but not as a primary one as it cannot do everything. Its also worth noting that this one has a 3/8 drive, I did choose this specifically as my main one has a 1/2 drive and I wanted to have 3/8 one as well. Id recommend starting with a 1/2 drive impact for automotive work. ... show more
