  • Brrrrrrrap, rap, rap, rap! It works perfectly!
Milwaukee quality is tough to beat! M18 tools share batteries and function great. This impact has surprisingly high torque and the fluid drive is really quiet. This tool is also a very nice size for tight engine bays. A bazillion tools fit the 1/4” drive and are less expensive than 3/8 or 1/2 drive.

  • You will never go back to a regular impact!
I really like having the 5.0 battery, but in certain situations it’s a bit heavy. 2.0 is adequate for most applications. I’ve purchased 4 as of today and cannot fathom ever going backward. Absolutely love these impacts!

  • Quality tool
This is the second drill that I have like this. Light weight and a shorter head to get into tighter spaces than other drills. Settings allow you to control the driving process better as well. Not as powerful as older versions, but last longer and more control.

  • It’s the Tesla of impact drills
If you’re a tool junkie like me, this is a must have. Even if you already own a Milwaukee impact, it is nothing like this Surge hydraulic impact. It’s hands down the best tool I own and can remove even the most pesky screw with its head full of garbage. The gearing in this gun is beyond amazing!!

  • Weak
I’ve owned lots of Milwaukee impact drivers including one of these. This is weak on driving power and the motor gets hot after 25 #9 screws. My older one would drive 5/16x6” rss screws till the battery died, not this one. Very disappointing.

  • Great impact driver, wish I had bought one of these years ago
I finally pulled the trigger on an impact driver and this one does not disappoint. Its really quiet and has plenty of power for all "normal" screws. I've only gone through one box of screws but haven't killed the first battery yet so I can't comment on the longevity. It would be nice if Milwaukee used the smart electronics in this driver to improve how the tool performs when you loose grip on the fastener. Currently when you have the trigger squeezed and start stripping the fastener it goes to full speed which wears your bits down faster. It should be able to sense the immediate decrease in torque while trigger position hasn't been changed and cut power or reduce speed nearly instantly. ... show more

  • The Chuck Spring Pop out and your bits fall out
It is very hard to get any work done when the chuck spring and baring pop out - I would highly recommend NOT to purchase Milwaukee Elec Tool - it is defective (i.e., Fuel Surge 1/4" Hex Hydraulic Driver 2760-22).

  • Best compact rattle gun yet
Love the hydraulic drive. Quiet dampened impacts. Loads of power. As a construction professional, I’ve used dozens of different impact drivers. I’d bought one earlier for my son and business partner and when my 9 year old DeWalt started dying, I bought one for myself. Couldn’t be happier.
