I have been trying to get a sofa foot screw out for weeks, tried everything. I was able to get this to tighten so much that it took it right out. love this little thing. the sofa is no longer on it's side and is functional again. i was worried that this was too small, it wasn't. the key is that it is the long nosed one instead of the curved one, which allows for more surface area on the pliers to grab the screw. problem solved! ... show more

    • Where is the 4" measurement?
Am I the only one who thought the stated "4-inch straight jaw" means the jaws will be 5' long? Well, the jaws are perhaps half of that. And the overall length is about 6-1/2'. So why is there 4" printed on the original blister pack? The jaws are very close to 4 cm long, though. So it is possible that somewhere the 4 originally intended in centimeters stayed and inches symbol was added. It is an OK tool. Not so much as pliers, more as a helping hand. And for those thinking it would be a great helping hand at four inches long total; no, it is six and half. ... show more

I was really surprised these didn’t have teeth at the tip. There is 1/4” or so that is just flat no teeth. If it had had teeth I’d have given it five stars. Competitors like Irwin have the teeth all the way.
