    • Legit battery, powers my tools
These newer 12V tools are pretty nice. When you don't need a full 18V or higher, they tend to be lighter and smaller which is great for avoiding fatigue. However, Milwaukee seems to love selling tiny batteries for their 12V line. I have the 12V pruning chainsaw, which came with a 4AH battery. I needed a backup for when the first battery is drained but I still have work to do. I looked for the biggest 12V battery I could, and this appears to be it. I was a little nervous buying this, due to the risk of buying a counterfeit battery that does not deliver the power of a legit battery. The battery case is actually the same size as the 4AH battery and has identical markings other than the AH rating, but this one weighs more and lasts around 50% longer. While I have not opened it up to compare cells and circuitry, this one seems to work well and delivers just as much power as my 4AH battery, just for longer. If you are invested in Milwaukee's 12V tool line and need a battery with longevity, this is the one for you. My only gripe is the same one I have for all Milwaukee and DeWalt batteries: the cost. For those who may be wondering (I know I was), this battery is the real deal... GENUINE MILWAUKEE & THE DATES ARE FRESH. Ordered in March 2021... battery dates were Dec 2020. Not bad at all. Probably newer than off the shelf at Home Depot. Newer batteries will perform better & more time on the warranty after they arrive. Good deal all around! ... show more

Both battery’s I ordered are Brocken and won’t charge. The charger works on my other battery’s but these ones blink red and green, very irritating

    • Better batteries allows you to used smaller and lighter tools
Small, compact and last a long time. I used to carry the craftsman tools but they were bulky and heavy. Even the m18 will have a tendency to be on the heavier side. The m12 tools are smaller and with this battery the m12 tools will last for a long time before I need to change batteries. It saves my wrists from being sore from holding the tools all day. ... show more
