When I first got this M18 kit, both batteries wouldn’t charge right out of the box. I thought I’d gotten a bad set, but after working with them a bit and doing a few full discharge/charge cycles, they started taking a charge properly. Since then, I’ve added a couple more M18 batteries to the lineup, and I’ve used the ever-loving daylights out of these drills and impacts. The power and balance are top-notch. They’ve handled everything from building projects to truck work without skipping a beat. The triggers are smooth, the torque is consistent, and they feel solid in your hands — no cheap plastic anywhere. Great drill and Impact! The batteries are light and work great and the bag is simple and easy! Issues with this purchase could only be one common thing amongst the Milwaukee brand. It’s pretty common the battery charges take a little playing with sometimes. Keep that charger manual for indicator lights. It’s not alway 100%, but still accurate enough. I had an old battery finally give out but for a while I thought it’d end up being how I was putting the battery on the charger. Again, the battery charger’s take a little convincing at times. Still a great purchase and hopefully this will help some of you. ... show more
