When I first got this M18 kit, both batteries wouldn’t charge right out of the box. I thought I’d gotten a bad set, but after working with them a bit and doing a few full discharge/charge cycles, they started taking a charge properly. Since then, I’ve added a couple more M18 batteries to the lineup, and I’ve used the ever-loving daylights out of these drills and impacts. The power and balance are top-notch. They’ve handled everything from building projects to truck work without skipping a beat. The triggers are smooth, the torque is consistent, and they feel solid in your hands — no cheap plastic anywhere.
