The M18 FUEL 3/8” Compact Impact Wrench is the Most Powerful tool in its class by delivering up to 210 ft-lbs of torque in a compact design. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor not only provides unmatched power, but also provides greater efficiency, delivering up to 20% more run-time than the leading competitors. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. REDLITHIUM Batteries (not included) deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0-900 RPM in Mode 1, 0-1600 RPM in Mode 2, and 0-2500 RPM in Mode 3. Auto Shut-Off Mode intelligently detects when the tool has Impacted on a fastener for one second and automatically shuts the tool down, reducing the likelihood of overdriving and damaging materials.

I enjoy using this tool. The kit is a great addition to my tool arsenal. I used it to replace the "cat-back" catalytic converter system on my Yukon, and I'm not sure I could have completed the job without it. It is so powerful I was a little concerned about breaking studs with it, so I used PB Blaster and a propane torch on some of the "stuck" nuts to make sure they came loose without breaking off. I highly recommend this tool kit for the DIY mechanic. The 3/8" impact is compact enough to get into tight spaces, and light enough to use all day, which isn't something I would say about the much larger 1/2" impacts. They both have their uses, but I prefer this one for most automotive jobs that don't require the extra "nut busting" power of the 1/2" impacts. The weight of mine with the 5.0 battery attached is just over 4 lb. ... show more

I've been wanting to get one of these at work for several years now and I finally did. Very handy, strong, and compact. Its a bit pricy though!!! I really like the fact that it takes the same battery as my Milwaukee drill does. I only gave it 4 stars for battery life, and value for the money because I don't feel I've used it enough yet to give it an accurate opinion. Light weight powerhouse! I tightened a lubed 3/4 NC bolt and nut to 240 f lbs and it banged it loose in seconds. 260 it didn't budget it . It broke a 3/8 g5 NC bolt so be careful on gear 3 . The auto setting isn't useful. It doesn't apply full torque before it cuts out. I accidentally bought 2 of these and returned one before it arrived. I bought the Milwaukee 2754-22 impact wrench for automotive work. I wanted something small enough to fit in tight spaces in my Jeep's undercarriage. The tool's power and size combination make it ideal for automotive work. I was installing suspension components (shocks, coil springs, trackbar, swaybar links, and other misc. parts)and other maintenance and upgrades. Initially, I was going to go with a traditional pneumatic set up. But, I think I actually ended up saving a lot of money going with the Milwaukee impact. I worked for a day and a half on one battery, and it still had plenty of power left. I don't usually leave reviews, but this tool is such a pleasure to use. If you are wonder which size to get, I went with the 3/8" drive because it was smaller. I needed to get into some tight spots. I was worried it would not have enough power. But this tool performed beyond expectation. Time will tell if the impact wrench is worthy of the price. I plan on updating this review when this thing has been time-tested. ... show more

Amazing power for 3/8 drive. Breaks loose car lug nuts (100ft-lbs). Almost does truck (140-ft-lbs), but would take way too long, but I expected to need 1/2” drive for that anyway

This Impact does 95% of any automotive work that you would normally drag out your 1/2" air wrench for. Battery life really good. I'd better oil up my 1/2" air wrench because I probably won't use it for many years because this does the trick. I was so happy about this purchase I bought the nut driver for my 1/4" needs. High quality, well made. Just what you’d expect from Milwaukee. Just too bad it’s not. USA company anymore. But I still feel there products are still top notch. Only used this once to remove some bolts, but had to break out the 1/2” Milwaukee impact to break them loose. Being it’s only a 3/8 drive, I didn’t really expect it to remove those bolts. ... show more
