I wanted a battery powered rotary tool as the corded tools are a pain to use if you aren't near an outlet. I already had a couple of Milwaukee M12 tools so this seemed like a good choice to keep my battery/charger herd from growing. This tool has the usual great Milwaukee build quality and features I value. It has similar power to my Dremel corded tool and a speed dial to give you the perfect speed for any job. All of my standard 1/8" shaft bits work, so I didn't have to buy new bits either. Battery life with the standard M12 batteries is sufficient for my needs, and there are higher capacity batteries if needed.

What an amazing little tool. This replaced a cordless dremel that would never hold a charge long even when brand new. Another great addition to my M12 line up. All my dremel accessories including router bit and shield are compatible. I never thought I would use this tool for as often as I do. Can cut through bearing races like a champ with precision.

Nothing wrong with the tool itself - works as expected. Variable speed, nice collet lock for changing bits. I will say the tool is a bit large/bulky for trying to engrave lettering/words. Would not recommend for people trying to engrave with it. You almost have to hold it with two hands to be precise, which makes writing very awkward. If you are using it for anything other than engraving - it is a great tool. Use the compact batteries instead of the flat bottom M12s to cut down on weight/bulk.

This battery powered moto tool is a very nice quality Milwaukee tool…and a perfect replacement for my many year old ‘other’ moto tool. The tool bits of old seem to be useable in the Milwaukee. Although this tool isn’t often used, am glad it’s there when needed. I love the interchangeability of the M12v battery.

purchased this item to replace a 14yo dremel 4000 that died because replacing that item required purchasing duplicates of all the attachments that still work without issue. All of those attachments work with the milwaukee. I already had several items from the M12 set so batteries weren't a problem. This battery operated dremel is just as capable as the 4000 ever was and doesn't have a cord to get in the way all the time. Significantly more capable than the Black & Decker the roommate has had. Would definitely buy again!

AWESOME! Just could not be more satisfied with this purchase. I'm a big fan of the M12 series tools. The desire for a cordless grinder was there, but a NEED came up. So I started shopping the product line of that small grinder, big name company. Then through the genius of Amazon's AI not, there was this tool. Being a fan and very satisfied owner of more M12 tools than I should admit, I chose this one. It is well made, very smooth, light weight, and so easy to use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

I bought this for my craft room and its really handy for a multitude of tasks. I am mostly using it for wood carving right now and its powerful enough to chew through wood quickly. I rarely run it on high as its more power than I need but I have no regrets getting this. The weight is good and its not too awkward to hold and I think its a good value for the money
