Don't second guess spending a little more on this. We have a finished basement that doesn't have great airflow and can sometimes get that "basement" smell. This solved both problems! Absolutely wonderful product. It heats an entire large room perfectly and very low noise. The air purification also works great and the sensors for the air quality as well. And you can control and track everything on the app while away from home. I would highly recommend this product. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am so happy with my new Dyson Hot+Cool Purifier HP1! Before I had a tower fan on my bedroom floor and a separate little heater sitting on my dresser, both with remote controls, all taking up their own valuable space. Now one unit, one remote, PLUS I have PURIFIER which is such a blessing! I share a home with my elderly mother, my cat and a 6 month old puppy. I must keep the litter box in my bedroom 🫢. THIS is the main reason the Purifier is SO nice! All that fine dust, not to mention the odor when she does her number 2! I DO wish the Dyson unit was a little taller, I'm considering getting a sturdy little table to elevate it a bit off of the floor. I really love the options of the revolving fan/heater motion from 45°~360° or keeping it motionless. The fan is very quiet but if it's on "Auto" for instance, you have the heater set for 73° and the room gets cooler than that, the fan will kick up on high to warm up your space faster and you WILL hear the fan, but it's not an annoying sound... Just rushing air for a bit until the room warms. 😊 Yes, I'm very pleased with my purchase! I bought it during Amazon days along with a couple of extra filters. This is a piece of trash, I returned it within days via UPS , could not even heat a small room. I have bought many Dyson products before this was my first heater / air purifier . The remote had no lighting, was a cheap little remote with no lighting, defeats the purpose if you need to turn on lights to use it. There was no real effect as it did not heat room, maybe slightly warmed over an hour. USES lots of POWER does it actually purify air,, unknown. I returned days after receipting it. Amazon is not issuing refund “delayed” no explanation. Affirm is asking for payment!!!! Past due even though amazon received days before due date, surprisingly very fast after purchase and receipt. As mentioned sent it back and they received it days before due date. Now they are stating wait 30 days after I sent it to them for “natural refund after 30 days”. Dyson has a “satisfaction guarantee” I AM NOT SATISFIED ! will pay for this hunk of junk, returned everything in original condition with all manuals and stupid remote! Knew i had to write a review regarding this after what happened to warn all buyers to not trust Dyson name anymore. Over $700 for this pos. ... show more

    • Decent product, but lack of QoL features for the price. Air sensor was DOA.

Air Quality sensor didn't work out-of-the-box. And the Dyson's online support "Troubleshooting" tool doesn't work correctly (just loops and keeps asking you to select your product). But after running it for several hours and unplugging it, the sensor still doesn't work. So technically it's a DOA. Despite the sensor being DOA, everything else works well but overall I'm disappointed in the lack of quality-of-life features for the price you pay. Additional notes: - It's very quiet - No heating controls from the app or the unit itself (must use the remote) - Remote is small and not wireless (i.e., must point it at the machine, can't use it when mounted on a wall) - Only On/Off button on the unit itself (no other function buttons, so what happens if you lose the remote and want to use heat which you can't use from the app?) - Air flow ranges from very gentle to probably just enough for cooling effect in a medium sized room, not as powerful as large traditional fan. - No weird smells (chemical, plastic, etc) even when using the heating function. - Works with Alexa ... show more
