The Milwaukee M18 Fuel Packout 2.5 Gal Wet/Dry Vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever owned and I have had several. Here's why it's the best: It's powerful AND portable. It has the best suction of any vacuum I've ever had including corded shop vacs and corded upright home vacuums. It's lightweight and easy to handle; it's easy to pack in a vehicle and take anywhere. It has a great set of attachments for a variety of uses and it's quieter than any other shop vac I've ever used. It's also easy to empty and clean out and you have the option to purchase bags so emptying the vacuum and keeping it clean is even easier. You also can purchase sponge filters for use as a wet vac. You'll never have an issue with runtime as long as you use a pair of Milwaukee's higher amp-hour batteries. I use 2 Milwaukee M18 5.0 Ah batteries and I never run out of battery before the second battery is charged. In fact, when I'm only using the vacuum for casual everyday home use, I don't need to change the battery for days at a time. It's the perfect vacuum for almost any job. Other than vacuuming a large square footage of carpet (you would still want a traditional upright home vacuum for that) there's nothing this vacuum can't handle. It's the perfect vacuum for cleaning out a vehicle; I haven't once used a vacuum at a car wash since purchasing this vacuum. The included attachments and great suction make it easy to vacuum hard-to-reach crevices and corners and it's a great way to keep your vehicle clean on long roadtrips. It's the perfect vacuum for a traveling contractor, especially if you already use Milwaukee M18 tools. It's compatible with the Milwaukee Packout system, but even on its own it's the most space-efficient and portable shop vac on the market and it's as powerful (more powerful, even) than a clunky traditional corded shop vac. It's the perfect vacuum for everyday home use. Don't waste your money on a chargeable hand vac when this vacuum offers the convenience of a hand vac with the power of a shop vac. If you have tile or hardwood floors or live in a tiny home or RV this vacuum could even replace your traditional upright home vacuum. In my house this vacuum is the Crumbstopper, lol. It's the perfect vacuum for a home workshop. It has a power tool adapter so that you catch dust and debris from saws and sanders the moment it's created and when there is a mess to deal with it makes the cleanup fast and easy. For the price you're getting the best quality and versatile usage, especially if you already own tools that use the Milwaukee M18 battery system. Super useful for little jobs where I don’t want to haul around my big shop vacuum. Has good power and is light. The only issue is the hose is 1” (approx) so stuff can get caught in it. But for large items I use my full size. I mainly use this for project work and for the car carpets

For a such a small and lightweight vacuum this thing is powerful! Runs a long time on 5amp batteries as well. I have a new forge 6.0 and 12amp batteries I prefer to use on it and they really last well in this vacuum. Cleanup is each too.

The vacuum works very well - it has great suction. I only gave it four stars because the hose is so short. I'm looking for either a longer hose or a second hose I can connect to the first one for a longer length.
