    • Good teflon tape
This teflon tape is thicker than the no-name teflon tape. I find it is easier to apply since it is not as flimsy. I would definitely buy more the next time I need teflon tape.

    • I think it's better than the cheap stuff
I decided to try some of the "professional" stuff instead of just the usual, cheap teflon tape. It's a bit more expensive than the cheap stuff, but not much more when you account for the extra length, width and thickness. It really does require fewer wraps to get a good seal than the cheap stuff. And the 3/4" width is more natural than the 1/2" for joints. I also like that it doesn't turn into strings like the white stuff does. It really annoys me when teflon tape does that and this seems to be less prone to it. I'm a definitely an amateur at plumbing, but I think I will continue to buy this tape (although with 3 rolls it will be a long time before I need more) instead of the cheap stuff. It's less hassle and I feel like it is better quality (I never really know whether the cheap, white stuff is good or bad or in between) and nearly the same price. ... show more

    • The best tape out there
I’ve been in the mechanical industry for 48years. I’ve used every type of tephlon tape, blue monster tape is by far the best out there!! You only need half the amount of tape you would normally use on pipe threads. I’ve never had an issue with this tape!

My plumber recommended this brand and I have used it a few times already. It holds well and goes on easier than the white tape. Definitely recommend. No one will complain they spent ten cents more for a hose connection that stays working....

I’ve been using the old style white Teflon tape, but I saw this tape and bought it because it is wider and also a little bit thicker. I had quite a number of fittings to connect so I gave this tape a try. It worked good. This tape is a serious cut above regular Teflon tape. The 3/4" width is much easier to use, and the tape is definitely thicker than the standard stuff you buy. These characteristics make it easier to apply to pipe threads, and to take it off after removing something such as a shower head. I will definitely buy this product again. ... show more
